Is this doable?

We have an 8pm Yak & Yeti reservation. FOP FP 8:30 - 9:30 and Rivers of Light FP 9:35. How long does it take to eat at Y&Y? Can we get all three of these done? If I get to Y&Y early will they seat us early? I realize that Rivers of Light is arrival at 9:35 to 10:00 but do we need to get there earlier than later to get a good seat? This is on a Wednesday in about a week so wondering if I need the FP for Rivers of Light. Thoughts appreciated.

Hate to say it, but there is no way this is going to work. You can try showing up at Y&Y earlier, but there is no guarantee they will seat you earlier or even on time for your ADR. You need to allow at least an hour for Y&Y, if not more. So, at the very minimum, that puts you, maybe, finishing dinner at 9:00 pm. You then have to high-tail it to FoP (which is not close). You might get there at about 9:15 pm. It has taken us up to 45 minutes to get through FoP even with a FP+ and then you'd have to hightail it all the way back to RoL. We did something similar to this back in August with a late FoP followed by a ROL FP+ and we barely made it into ROL under the wire right at the end of the FP+ time. We got seats, but they were all the way over on the right side of the theater. It was not fun running back and forth. If you have a FP+ and you make it there in time, they'll let you in. If you go standby, it will take up even more time because you'll have to line up 45 minutes to an hour in advance.

My recommendation would be to try to get to your FoP FP+ at the beginning of your window. That way, if FoP is having delays/technical problems, you have time to allow for that. You could then plan on exiting FoP around 9:15 pm and leisurely make your way over to ROL. In order to do that, I would try to re-schedule Y&Y for 7 pm or so. Or even just do lunch there and do QS at Satuli near FoP to consolidate your touring a little bit.

If you have time, simply apply for a Landry's Select Card so you can show up at Y&Y whenever you want and get priority seating. It costs $25, but that's applied to your bill.

Seriously, join the Landry's select club. You'll be able to walk into any Landry's restaurant and get the next available table. It's so much better than making an ADR.

There is no way your plan will work as it is now.

I think the shortest time we've been able to do Y & Y is about 45 minutes. That's after we got the table. The wait is what is going to chew up your time.

As Alesia said, if you want to keep the plan as is, I would consider joining the Laundry Club and show up a bit earlier. Or try and change the ADR to an hour earlier ( even 30 minutes would help ).

We are pretty punctual people so always arrive on time or early for meals, and I can't think of a single time I have been sat early, and in fact, it is pretty rare to be sat at your reservation time. I'd say wait times after a reservation are typically about 15-20 minutes late, but it has been as much as 45 mins at numerous WDW restaurants. If you want flexibility on timing, can I suggest the Satu'li Canteen in Pandora? The food is really very good for counter service (and I hate counter service typically), you can order on your mobile app and your food will be ready in 5 minutes, it has great ambiance, and you will be literally next door to Flight of Passage so no danger of missing your fastpass.

THIS.

Another vote that it probably won't work. If you can move Y&Y earlier by 30-60 minutes, the rest should be fine.
We enjoy Y&Y and you don't want to rush the meal. You will also spend time getting to FoP and back to RoL.
The 2 times we have seen RoL, it was not full. Where the FP sit you will have a good view no matter where you sit.

You're going to have to get to FOP early on in that FP window in order to be done in time to get a spot for Rivers of Light. If you move Y&Y up to 7pm, you'll be fine.
