I could be wordy, but trying to keep it simple:

-fast eaters-2 people who want to get the most of the MK and deluxe resorts

MK for the day starting at 9 a.m. with CS breakfast and lunch
6:25 p.m. reservation at Citricos for entrees
7:50 p.m. reservation at Cali Grill for desserts (mainly just to take pictures)

(By the way, can we do this? I know there's a cc hold for signatures.)

9 p.m. electric water pageant on Poly beach
Back to MK for EMH until 1 a.m. (we will have another 9 a.m.-10 p.m. full day in MK)

:confused3

Also, is there a way we could still get a similar view that California Grill has without having to dine at Cali Grill in the Contemporary? I wouldn't mind canceling Cali Grill as the desserts don't sound fantastic for the price.

Thanks!

I think it will be a time crunch with dinner and then getting to the cr in time. Remember you may have to wait for your ADR at citricos which would back everything up.

It sounds like a "high" view of wdw is important to you, so my opinion is cancel citricos and just book a dinner and desert at California grill, then make your way over to the poly for the water parade.

Hope this helps!

Personally I think it is crazy. I would be stressed at each step, worrying about the time. You did not build in any waiting to be seated time, which I think you would experience. You may not even be seated at CA Grill at 7:50 - there often is a back up there. The closer you get to Wishes, the less lucky you will be seated. The folks there wait until after the fireworks to vacate their tables.

I think it's crazy because you are taking a chance that Citricos will seat you right at 6:25 PM or not longer after that, because what if they are running 20 minutes or more behind schedule when it comes to seating everyone else with ADR's.

;) Thanks for the tips, I've never really been to the overly popular restaurants before so I'm used to getting seated within a few minutes.

Getting good photos is definitely very important to me. I was on cloud 9 eating at the John Hancock Building in Chicago. Would stopping by the windows around the contempo cafe have some views?

Only if you are a DVC member staying at Bay Lake Tower and have access to the Top of the World Lounge.

If you'd like a view from the Contemporary (not as high up though) you can get it from the public viewing area on the 4th floor. But get there early if you are going to see Wishes. It will likely fill up.

If you don't mind buying a drink you can go up to the California Grill's bar if you're not trying to get there for fireworks. Then you can cancel that California Grill reservation and not worry about the no-show fee.

They might, if you could get to them. The monorail track is between the cafe and the windows.
