Is this common?

So my next question would be when did they start doing brunch on a port day? We have done eleven seven day cruises and have never seen brunch offered on a port day in the past. Is this something new they may be doing due to the fact brunch does fill up fast?
We did a western back in '08 on the Magic and we stopped on Sunday in Key West. We had Palo Brunch that day.
Monday was available as an option on the opening bell of Silver sign up. I don't think that it is the fact that we're on Cozumel. Someone who has sailed the Western recently can weigh-in. Seems very last minute.

I'm glad it resulted with the day you prefer anyway :earsboy:

But that wasn't nice. Not sure if they figured most people wouldn't mind the change to a more popular day? Or they figured if anyone had issue to contact them, then they'd switch it back or make some other equally acceptable arrangement. Quid pro quo, right?
I wouldn't have minded the email if they gave some kind of explanation or options.
Only saying "We switched your day" is rude :( and slightly disrespectful.

Wow! That stinks. Hope it all works out. Maybe a snafu? As post above still has same reservation on a Monday.

On the same cruise and our brunch is still on Monday.

Interesting 🤔
Like I said , I had planned to head straight to Dining to try to switch to Sunday. But in our group on fb several had a conflict with the character breakfast on Sunday and were upset.

We have a WC cruise coming up and brunch is only offered on Sun and Thurs, the sea days. We did a WC in 2017 and brunch was only on the sea days. Wonder why it was offered on Monday for your cruise. We were going to stay on the ship on Monday, so I would have liked for it to be available but it's not for our cruise.

When did Palo brunch change from sea days to port days?

Oops, that was suppose to be sea days, not port days. Am going back to fix it. OP had it offered on a port day and then someone else asked if they were offering it now on port days. I was responding that for my upcoming cruise it's only on sea days, but due to lack of sleep wrote port when it should have been sea.

OK, thanks. It's always been on sea days on all my cruises. But I've read that they did add it to the 3 night Nassau port day a year or so ago. I wasn't aware that it was offered on any other port days.
