someone came into my quest room and I had extra of a item that i want to trade so i asked if she wanted to trade and she accepted

me:-puts up item- what do you offer for this?
her: -puts up bunch of stuff that and I say yes or no- then she puts up everest car and bubbling cauldron
me:hmm
me: for both ok
we trade and then halfway into a trade with someone else she starts saying he you cheat me!
and before i can ask how she leaves!

how did i cheat her? she accepted it and i did not say somehting like oh this is rarer than inferno or any scammer talk just what would you offer if anything so how would i cheat her?

what do you mean? i only asked her what she would offer i didnt promote in anyway lol

Well, if it was something you could buy, was your item worth the same amount credit-wise as her two items? Was it a fair trade?

Also, had you been telling people in the room that you were trading rare? Maybe she saw you talk about trading rare and then assumed that the item you had was rare...

no i was in my room and it was just me and her and one other person and i just traded with her because the other person was afk i didnt say it was rare to anyone! and she just put up a lot of different stuff and i asked her is she would trade the cauldron and the everest car and she said ok

I think I'll stick with my original thought of "it all depends on what you traded her..."

Oh no!! So if its not a fair trade to You but it is to them and you accept that is considered Cheating??

Like today I wanted Bat magic for Teleportation magic so I offered Teleportation magic and the kid said no thanks I would rather have Firework magic. Well I know Bat for Firework magic isn't a good trade but they wanted it, does that mean I cheated the dude?:confused3

i know like i used to have 7 bat magics so bat magic was not worth a that much! like in my opion invisible is worth at least 4 fireworks because invisible takes longer to get

I think if the person clicks that accept button, its not cheating. Now I've had little kids, or at least I thought they were little little kids say I have this rare piece of furniture, when in fact it was free from the Kelloggs game. But I know better, someone might believe them! In that case, Thats lying to cheat...LOL

what I want to know is how you are trading period since I thought you were banned?? :confused3

And yes it does depend on what you traded to her...why ask anyone if it is cheating if you will not provide that info....it seems you already know that it may have been.

Just a thought.

HDKL shirt because when i signed on a lot of people were trading for it for cheap stuff so i got extras but then i found out they were for sale so i posted it so people know! the only thing that costs credits was the cauldron and she when i declined what she put up(i was looking for decorations not gates and rope and stuff) she kept on saying wait and she put up the cauldron which was the only thing she had that i needed

You know you cheated her or you wouldn't be asking. m2c.

actually no because the shirt sells for like 50 credits when i tried so...

so, you traded her the HK shirt that is for sale for a bubbling cauldron AND an Everest car. Well, Everst car, whatever, but the HK shirt can be bought for 100 and the Cauldron for 400 (or is it 800? no matter) and you KNEW that, you didnt "cheat" her but what you did was use your superior knowledge to make someone believe they were getting something worth more than it was... by saying "for both, ok" means that you placed a value on it much higher than it actually was, and she believed you. It is not cheating, but it is really slimy.

I will tell you a story and then you answer your own question:

Yesterday, I found out about the blue shirts. I was told they were on sale at the Emporium. I bought one for 100 credits. A little while later someone clicked on me for a trade request. She wanted my shirt. She was practically begging me for it.

Before I could tell her where to get it she filled the trade window with all kinds of items. These included:
a fire window
a candy cauldron
and lots of other good stuff - and I mean LOTS

I have been trying to get a fire window for a very long time through legit trades and have been unsuccesful. Trust me when I tell you I want that fire window.

I told her, "It is not worth all of that."
She said, "Please. Please. I want your shirt."
She had no idea that the shirts were on sale for a mere 100 credits at the Emporium.

If I had given her the shirt, taken everything she offered (including something I SO want) and hit accept, would that have been cheating?

You can answer or not, but I will tell you this, I closed the window. She begged me. "Please.." I told her, "It would not be fair for me to take all of that without telling you that it is on sale right now at the Emporium for 100 credits." She said, "omg!! Really? Thanks" And was gone.

I am intentioinally not answering your question directly as I think that it is more about character than about clear-cut fairness.

I will allow you to answer your own question. Would I have been "cheating" if I took her offer - knowing that she was not informed?
