Is this board censored from any criticism?

Three of us (adult ladies) are going to be at WDW Oct 30th to the Nov 4th. I was wondering if anyone might have some extra seats that we could use on a boat with them, (which we would share the expense of course), for the night of Nov 1st, 2nd or 3rd.
Thanks,
MndyKaye

It is possible that someone posted something in your thread that was against guidelines and that is why the thread was deleted

That was my second post you found. I did repost the article and that one appears to have stayed , for the time being. I am aware Diney does not own this site but it wouldn't surprise me if their employees aren't hanging out to "spread the joy" of Disney
For your theory to hold water, your post that disappeared would have to have been worse than anything that has ever been allowed to stay on the boards that was critical of Disney.

MndyKaye, I suggest asking your question on the Theme Parks board. It will get lost in this thread.

It may or may not have been removed on accident. It seems to be sticking around this time.
Although it surprises me how many people are not upset at all about the accusations.
On a similar topic..I know this is a disney loving site..but before my recent trip I came here for advice and some guidance and really received a lot of positive information. however everything isn't always wonderful at Disney and my family was extremely disappointed by the trip. and I credit SOME of that to the overly rosy picture painted. After our trip I noticed many people asking the same questions i did and getting nonrealistic rosy answers and when I post and say..well that isn't ACTUALLY accurate..i get bashed saying i am stupid for waiting in line, etcetcetc.

I think there is an unbalanced view of Disney here.

You are reporting your experience but not everyone has the same one. Hopefully everyone that reads reports on the DIS takes it with a grain of salt. Why not post what your problems were? Maybe someone can help to explain why you had the experience you did.

I posted them at the attractions board when we returned and I was berated some for my so called stupidity. I hate to rehash that. my problems ranged from badly posted wait times, cast members rushing us through attractions(never did have ANY say hello), Cast members having NO knowledge of baby/parent swap, broken down attractions after waiting an hour for the FP. It was NOT a magical experience.

Sorry to hear your trip wasn't magical. Instead of complaining why not provide details to help others?

There is a thread in the Theme Park Attractions and Strategies forum that is Stickied, titled "Illuminations..."
http://www.disboards.com/showthread.php?t=560160

You should post this question in that spot for a better chance at getting a reply.

And by the way, you've hijacked the thread, but nobody seemed to pay attention to that

I'm just trying to help you out, not trying to be pushy. But it is kinda comical that this completely unrelated post has not been moved yet, given what this thread was originally started as - the O.P. should be happy :rotfl:
