Is this allowed on the Dining Plan?

MY wife and I were looking at some of the menus for restaurants that participate in the dining plan since we're going to be on it when we're at the world in Sept.

She noticed that the LeCelier menu mentions that you can add a lobster tail to any entree for $13. Does anyone know if that would be an additional charge or would they consider that part of her entree included in the dining plan?

In December, the server mentioned during my solo meal that adding the lobster tail was not included in the plan, but could still be added if the $13 was paid out of pocket. The topic was not raised at all by the server for the meal later in the month. Maybe someone else can also confirm that the tail is not included? Hope this helps :flower:

We were NOT on the dining plan, but our server told us the same thing "if you are on the dining plan and add the lobster tail, you will pay the $13." We laughed and said we had a DDE and she said, well, ok, then you'd pay 80% of $13.

Seems like it depends on the restaurant. When we were there in 2004 on a dining type plan Narcoosee's wouldn't allow us to add a lobster tail but when we went to Fulton's and Portobello we were allowed to. Has anyone ever asked a CM in the reservations department? I might do that when it's time to book our ADR's.

It also seems to be, from reports, that the early months of the dining plan were somewhat more lienient (and sometimes more strict) while CMs figured out what the policies were.

Thanks for the answers!

We'll ask our server before we order to get "the answer of the day"
