Is this acceptable, please help

I have a question about what would be appropriate in this situation.

DM's birthday is at the end of this month. DH and I have bought her a really nice prayer Bible for today's woman. I know that she will really like it.

My question is this: Is it appropriate to sign the inside cover of a Bible like you would other books? Also if it is does anyone have any resources to find a nice blessing that I could also inscribe inside?

Sure! I think that will make it very special.

Yes that would be fine. My Aunt gave me a Bible for Christmas when I was younger and she wrote in the front of it. And this Aunt wouldn't do something like that if it wasn't okay.

Also most old family bibles had a place in the front to write family information.
