Is this a timeshare???

Hi Everyone,
I'm trying to plan a trip to DL. My hubby has put me in charge....LOL..he usually does this stuff, but says since I want it...I need to work it out.
I saw a deal somewhere where you can stay at the Crowne Plaza for 3 nights with a ticket for 99$ a person. It's in conjunction with the Peacock Suites - so I'm assuming it's a timeshare thing. Does anyone know anything about it? Or has anyone done it? Are they very agressive? How long does it take?
I saw that Hotwire has a 3.5 star hotel (they use the Crowne Plaza as an example) for $66. a night. I have an Entertainment card - so how does that work? Someone on another thread that there was a rebate if you did it through them. How does that work?
Does anyone have any other suggestions as to hotels?
We are renting a car...so we will have transportation.
Thank you for any advice or help you can give me. It's been awhile since I've been to DL. We go to DW twice a year....am I right in assuming that my AP is not good at DL? Would showing it get me any kind of discount to DL?

If it is a timeshare presentation deal, the small print in the advertisement should specifically state that that it is an offer to sell. The small print should also state that you must attend a 90 minute (or more) sales presentation. These presentation must include a tour of a timeshare unit, and it will follow with what could be a high pressure sales pitch. In many cases, you will not get your ticket and other goodies until you complete the 90 minute presentation. Don't get me wrong, the presentations are not all bad (we ended up getting a week in Myrtle Beach 6 years ago and have not regreted it), but be prepared.
