Hello,
We are making our 2nd Disney trip in August and are very excited. I am wondering if we will run into a problem with our one dinner reservation.
We wanted to try Chief Mickey for dinner and the earliest we could get in was 9:05. Getting there will be no problem as we can take the bus to MK and then the monorail to the Contempory. My question - MK closes at 10:00 that night. How long do the busses run? Will we have time to eat, get back to MK, and then hop on a bus back to our hotel. We are staying at Pop Century. Are we in for a problem getting back?

Other ADR's:
Crystal Palace - dinner
50's Prime Time Cafe - dinner
LeCellier - Lunch - couldn't get dinner
Liberty Tree - Dinner

Thanks,
Amy

im pretty sure busses run for about 2 hours after the park closes!

We had a late ADR For CM Also, and it worked out perfectly - by the end of our meal we were 1 of about 4 tables left in the whole restaurant, and so we had loads of attention from the characters!! we had 3 characters around our table at one point, staying for about 15 minutes, messing around with us. It was the best character meal ive had purely because of how much time they were able to spend with us!

I believe the buses run 1 hour after the parks close and 2 hours after Downtown Disney closes.

I took this from Allearsnet.com

"Park transportation begins approximately 1.0 hour prior to that park's opening time and all transportation runs until approximately 1 hour after the parks close (check with Lobby Concierge upon arrival for specific times). You are dropped off close to the park entrance and so no need to wait for a tram/ferry or take a long walk after a tiring day. "

Welcome to the DIS!!!

You can always take a cab back to your resort. It shouldn't be more than $20 ... we paid about $20 from the Grand Floridan to Pop Century. You can also call back and try for an earlier time. People cancel ADRs all the time.

Another option would be to take the bus from the CR to DTD, then back to your resort from there. It can become a pain sometimes that is why I have opted to car rentals the past few years.
