Is this a plane transfer or same plane?

For our Cruise this November we have a flight home that has one stop. We never had a flight with a stop and not sure if this is a plane change or not stop. Would we be looking for a different gate when we land or just be boarding the same plane an hour later when we are supposed to leave? Here are some photos of the flight info.

Because it's the same flight number I would say same plane and you shouldn't have to get off the plane at all. With the short time in between flights that's just enough time for some to get off and then reload before closing the door and taking off again.

The flight number you have may not be correct. I checked flight aware and that flight number only brings up flights between MCO and CLT on Frontier.

Is your flight home from your cruise at 7:20 am????? Like you are planning to leave the ship & be at MCO for a 7:20 am flight? Or are you going somewhere else after your cruise then flying home another day?

It could be the same plane or it could involve a plane change. I've experienced both situations - even with the same flight number, there is sometimes an equipment change.

Ooh, good catch! Hopefully it's the latter or there is pretty much ZERO chance of the OP making that flight.

I would not assume that you are on the same plane...have you checked for information on the Frontier website?

That's the first thing I saw. At this point let's just make sure this person doesn't think they can make this flight if leaving directly from the port. That plane will be looooong gone.

Don't worry this will be a flight taken the day after the cruise. We plan to have a Disney hotel room for the night. Thanks for the catch just incase it was a morning of disembarking the ship.

Thanks for the replies everyone. Guess we will find out that day. At least it is the flight home and not on the way there.

The advantage if it is an equipment change is that it can't be a missed connection. Can't be 2 flights with the same number and airline in the air at the same time - at least as far as I know...

What is an equipment change?

Where the flight number remains the same but you change planes. (Seat assignments remain the same as well.) It's not super common, but it does happen.

This is not really true. While you are correct that two identical flight numbers can't be in the air at the same time, they won't delay the 2nd flight they would just give it a new flight number with ATC.

Ok, maybe not a guarantee, but they *can* I've been on the second leg of a flight where there was an equipment change and we were delayed waiting on the initial leg and crew to arrive.

Because of the time of.year the flight number probably flows that plane from.start to.end. if I had to guess, you'll be on the same.plane from MCO to PHL. If it was this month, the flight number changes to 1028. (I looked.on Frontiers website) same.plane different number. Airlines change routes and aircraft based on the time of year and number of passengers. Frontier runs that route roughly about every other day from what I can see.

Should be the same plane. Charlotte does not have many Frontier gates (I think normally one or two), so I would bet it is either the same plane or one gate down on the A concourse.

If the plane has a different configuration of seats the seat assignments may not be the same. We have had seat number changes with equipment changes.
