Is this a major ADR faux-pas?

We are going to be on the DDP this August for a Grand Gathering. The entire group is eating 4 of the 6 meals together, but the other two will be in smaller groups. Bro/SIL have made ressies for their family to eat on their own for the two nights. I knew my parents would never call for their own ADRs, so I lumped them in with mine. When we get there, I can see them (my parents) possibly making their own for that time frame.

Are we (DH &I) doing something wrong if we show up for the ADR I made at the time I made being a group of 4 instead of a group of 6?

The only thing would be if you were at a restaurant where your seating of six was actually a table for four and a table for two combined. So, by not canceling the other two people, the table for two is now left for, hopefully, a walk up for two. And maybe, just maybe, other parties of two have tried to make reservations for that table and have been denied.

I'm just giving out one example. Not saying it's going to happen.
