Is this a lesson my DD5 should learn?

So, DD came home with a fever (101.7) and a headache. She took some Motrin and went to bed - no "dress up" today. The upside is that she thinks she made the decision not to go to the party.

Well, I guess it has turned out with the same result whether she was invited or not, lost the invitation, etc. Sorry she's sick, but a part of my would almost be relieved that the decision to go is out of your hands. Hopefully she'll be feeling better soon.
