IS this a good price, or can we do better?

We just booked our first trip to Disney World, Dh, a 6 yr old and a 4 year old and I.
We booked Dec 7th to the 15th
water view at the Disney Caribbean beach resort
a 7 day park hopper for everyone and the basic meal plan
for $2709
is that good,bad ?

That does not seem bad at all. 8 nights of DDP is about $770 so the remainder is room and tickets at around $2000.

There have been specails in the past for the early part of Dec. so keep an eye on it and if you spot something then you can call to try to adjust the ressie. If you are using a TA then they should be able to do this for you.

Are you an AAA member? If not, it's absolutely worth joining to get a discount on the room.

Call an AAA agent and ask them to price out the same trip. Then see whether it's worth the $60 or so to join. The quote won't obligate you at all.

I think that's a really good price, but don't stop looking for codes and discounts. You can apply them up until the time you go!

When you go to www.disneyworld.com and put in arriving on 12/7 and departing 12/15, with 7 day park hopper and the dining plan for two adults and two children, it gives a quote of $3,303.08 so I think you did good!

Yes seems you got a nice discount.

Just wanted to point out one thing. Although I have no idea what time you will be arriving on your first day and when you are leaving on your last day but do you know that it would only cost $17.04 (total for all 4 tickets) more to make your tickets 9 day hoppers. Thats part of what is nice about the magic your way tickets. The more days your tickets are the less additional days cost. So if you end up having a few hours when you arrive or leave it doesn't cost so much to run to the park for the fireworks or a ride or 2.

I am glad to know Dh was told on the phone he had a discount but he for got to ask how much

I think we get in at 10 at night and leave about 9 am so thats why I didn't worry about the extra days
we are flying from western canada so its going to be along day 8 hours I think so we will be ready for bed (with our luck our 4 yr old will sleep on the plane and be ready to party lol)
