I know nothing about car rentals--but have been learning quite a lot lately! Dh's Union offers a discount through Budget. We could reserve an "intermediate" car for $194, or upgrade to a "full size" for $205. That is for the entire week, taxes, etc... included. Our travel dates are 10/7-10/14.

Thanks for your thoughts!

We're going the same time found the following using different corp. ids & coupons as indicated on mousesavers site:

Alamo, mid-size - $162.90 (w/QS cc guarantee)

National, intermediate - $174.77 (w/EA cc guarantee)

Haven't found any good rate codes yet. The entertainment book also has discounts.

Good luck.

I just got a $12/day deal on Hotwire for an economy car through Budget for this month so I'm paying $88 for a 5-day rental, including taxes.

We are going in October too and are using budget as well. I used a Costco Code that I am using and your intermediate for your dates came up $175.94 total with taxes, etc. Then if you go to Costco there is a $20.00 coupon in their travel brochures that can be used in conjunction with the discount code which means your car would cost around $155. I hope this helps!
