After some advice....we are looking to go to dlrp for 5nights/6days in august next year...daughters are aged 6 and 10. We really want a swimming pool so have been quoted £2366 for the sequoia lodge with eurostar. Is this a good price?? We have only been once before and it cost £900 for 3 nights in cheyenne but this was in may not school hols. We will book it if that's the best deal we will be able to get but will wait if there is the chance of getting it cheaper. Any advice? Thanks!

Hi Linre

I have to say that seems a lot to me! Have you tried pricing it up without including eurostar? Disney tend to add several hundred pounds to the cost of transport and it is almost always much cheaper to book that direct yourself.
What offer is are you getting for the hotel? I know that they have some early booking offers of 2 nights free etc.

Just to give you an idea , we paid 800 pounds last year for 4 nights in Sequioa Lodge (not including transport). This was in high season................

Hi thanks for replying

It's saying £1500 without transport...and claiming thats 2 nights/2days free! and kids under 7 stay free. Probably not the best deal then! Do you know when the best time to book is?

I paid just under £2500 for 4 adults at Cheyenne for 6 nights 7 days in July this year, that was without transport, a 20% discount and free Half Board dining.

I'd agree to price up the holiday and transport seperately but if you're happy with the price book a standard room at SL (lodges), if a better offer comes up in the meantime you could always upgrade to a Montana Room (inside the main hotel) to take advantage of it. :)

Wow, summer time is super expensive! We paid 1300 pounds for 4 nights in DLH during october half term!

I would check if you are able to change the room to a standard one in the lodges - the default setting is for montana rooms and this will effect the price.
It may also be worth pricing up just one adult and getting an Fantasy annual pass for the other one. Bought with a good deal, the passes can be had for around 130 pounds. sometimes the cheaper cost of the room with only 1 adult more then pays for the cost of the pass. You then also have the added benefit of 20% discount in most of the shops and 10% discount on food and drinks.

Definatley price up eurostar seperatly - i think prices start at around 69 euro return when booked early enough - you can phone them and they should be able to let you know when tickets for your dates will be released.

Also worth mentioning that promoparcs also have a special offer on Annual Passes at the moment, and both them and CE Multivantages had the same offer before and during the summer. For each adult pass, you can buy a childs one for 35 euro!

At the moment it costs euro 168 for 1 adult and 1 childs fantasy pass - about 134 pound - worth also pricing up the trip for just one adult and the free child. You can add the other too onto the bbooking room only for just the tourist tax of around 1.20 per night.
Sometimes it is worth playing around with the figures..........

Can you tell I'm bored here at work?
I just priced up a random 5 nights in august in a standard room for 1 adult and 1 child
price is 1123 pounds\
add on the cost of the discounted Annual Passes of 134 and the room tax for 2 people for 5 nights total around 10 pounds

Brings you to 1267 pounds so already quite a saving on the 1500 :goodvibes

plus all the lovely discounts to be had with the annual passes:goodvibes

food for thought anyway...............and now I shall try and do some actual work lol

thanks for that info and for working out some prices for us! I had never even considered buying an annual pass..now we really have some thinking to do!!

Always book eurostar separately, dlp rip you off for eurostar tickets! We recently bought ours for March, £187 for 2 adults, 1 child and a free infant. If you book on release day you stand a good chance of getting the cheapest tickets available. I think the next batch release is January 2014 but not sure what dates that will include.
