Hi,

I am going to DW for the first time in May 2006!! I just got quoted $1236.58 for 2- 7 day park hopper magic plus tickets and 7 nights at POP. Is this good? Should I book it, or wait for a better deal?

Also, how is the bus service out of POP. I know it will be clean...but the wait for the bus is going to be the downside (I'm thinking)

THanks Disney World Experts!! :earsboy:

Rack rate is $99/night in regular season, so it's about $110/night when you
include tax. So that being said, it's $770 of your package, if you count
the room separately. When you divide the difference left by the two
tickets (assuming they are the 14 day expire after first use passes),
you're roughly saving about $30 total, or $15pp.

Bus service OUT of Pop Century is nice. There are dedicated queues,
which I like, and what most other resorts don't have. And the only
other resort to have only one bus stop: Animal Kingdom Lodge.
All other resorts share stops either within a larger resort, or among various
resorts close by.

The downside? In Epcot, you will be at the farthest bus stop imaginable
going back. The other parks, not so bad by comparison. But it sure beats
walking. :earboy2:

So should I book this? Is it too early? I don't want the AAA rate to be unavailable, but I don't know what other discounts will be available...

We waited much longer for bus service at POP than we ever did at any of the
All Stars. We won't be going back. Just my 2 cents.

I say book the AAA rates if they have it. I doubt there will be any general discounts coming out anymore. I stayed at POP in June and loved it. I never had to wait long for a bus.

We were there last week and buses were great. It always seemed as soon as we were walking to the stop one was pulling up into the parking lot.
