WE are going to Disney for 5nights 6 days at the end of Sept. We got the free dining (we have several big eaters) and there are 7 ( 2 adults, 5 children) of us altogether. We are flying SW. We are paying 3350. for everyting and we are staying at the POP with 2 rooms. I am looking at what some peopleare saying and feel like we are paying a terrible amount.

If by terrible you mean very little, then I agree.
Your departure city is a big factor of your total cost, but even if you're not getting a good deal there, you're paying less than $500 per person. Just meals alone could run $150-$300 per person, hotel, tickets to parks, and airfare. You'll have a hard time finding a vacation at a resort anywhere else at these prices.

You don't say where you are flying from or the ages of your kids. Yes there maybe money to be saved by staying offsite or your plane tickets. I would be happy with the deal you got. Meals at Disney can be a huge budget breaker.

We also are going the last week of Sept. We have two rooms at POP - 5 "adults"-(Me, DW,DS-12 ,D neices 15,12) and 1 child (DD 9) for 5 nights 6 days.Free dining is included.
We purchased trip insurance and upgraded our tickets from base to park hopper.
Unfortunately we must drive - air in Cincinnati is VERY expensive.
Our package came to $2327.
Your deal doesn't sound too bad to me.

We are Flying from Baltimore and our children are 3, 6, 8, 10 and 12. We got airfare for 136. round trip. I went back and forth about staying off the resort but with the 2 little ones I thought the extra money was worth it. I don't know

We're leaving from BWI on Sept 23 & our kids are 3 & 5 & 11. :) SW is running a sale - $49 each way. I've read you can get a credit or refund - seems to depend on the rep - if the fares are on sale once you've purchased tics. Worth checking since that could save you about $100. The transportation board should have a better answer how to do it.

She may already have that same fare. $49 each way plus taxes, ect.. should be around $136 per person. I wish the airlines would just be honest about how much it REALY costs to fly, and add the tax rates to their sale prices.

If the $3350. includes airfare, I think you got a really great deal!
