Is there wait lists for restaurants?

First time cruiser, going on the wish

All the signature restaurants are sold out for the 2 of us.

Do they even open up, Ala should I keep checking like a fast pass lol

Also, is there a wait list? Can I do that before boarding? As you can tell I am new to this and don't know what I am doing

Also, what are the best excursions for Nassau with 2 adults? Quite a few to choose from.

On boarding day, you can go to a specified location to make dining requests. There is usually a manager for the MDR and each (or all) of the specialty restaurants. (My last cruise it was in Promenade Lounge on the Magic. I have seen reports of Luna on the Wish.). I believe the location for this will be in the app. Go there first thing.

Sold out pre-cruise does not necessarily mean fully booked.

First night seatings are usually the least booked. I switched half of my party to a different night. They try to accommodate.

Aunt Lynne is correct, I’m just off the Wish and the place to check if any restaurant reservations are available was Luna lower level.

Also yes there is a wait list (or has been in the past) and even if it seems highly unlikely you will get a dining time, go ahead and sign up.

I was on a cruise that had no pre-cruise availability for Palo Brunch, and I checked often to see if anything opened up. It never did. On embarkation day we went and checked to see if there was any onboard availability and there was not by the time we boarded. We then asked if we could get on the wait list. The crew member chuckled and was like sure but...... (the idea was there was no way we we going to get a reservation with the length of that list) We put our names on anyway and figured that brunch wasn't going to happen this cruise. Well one hurricane and several extra sea days later we were enjoying a great brunch in Palo.

Obviously this isn't always going to happen, but we had also no idea at the time of embarkation that a hurricane was even in the works. Just add your name to that list and see what happens. You just never know.
