Is there transportation to RIchard Petty Driving Experirnce from Resorts ?

Staying at WL, without a car (on purpose). My DW, of all people is saying she wants to do the ride along at RPDE. (Blew me away because she hates cars in general). Is there transportation there, or will we have to take a cab ??

Also, is there an age resriction there ? 16yo and 13 yo are "interested" but noncommital at this point.

I believe you have to go Ticket & Transportation by the Kennels and that is where you are picked up. You could walk, Its pretty close to Wl. Or there are buses running directly there ,TTC.

We took a cab from POR. cost $8.00. On the way back, we took the shuttle the offer to the TTC.

There used to be a shuttle to the TTC from the WL, and then you could catch the RPDE van there. However, now you'll need to go to the MK and take the monorail over to the TTC.

We used the van shuttle service in August. Unless it has changed since then this is what we did.

From resort go to MK. To the right of the entrance there are kennels. You will see a sign for the Race way van. I would take their phone number and give them a call when you get to the shuttle area. Within minutes a Raceway van will pick you up and take you to the track. They will give you a ride back to MK when you are finished. Just allow extra time for the shuttle service.

To answer your question about age, you have to be at least 16 for the ride along.
