Okay, now we go twice a year. Just DH and I in the Spring and entire family at Christmas. I don't know how it happened. It just snuck up on me. :rotfl2:

Last night I was showing DH a photobook I made of a couple of Disney trips. He said, that's two trips combined? We go so much, I feel like it's my second home. I can't distinquish one trip from other.

:lmao:

Granted, DH doesn't do rides, he just goes for the atmosphere.

Those of you living outside of, Florida, how often do you go per year?

I was going a few times a year as We played Paintball at the WWoS complex then with the family once a year.

I'm no longer playing so we joined the DVC and will do Ap's everyother year. On those years we will do 3 or 4 times a year and on the off year during the Fall or Winter we will go and hit US/IoA.

But I will let you know when enough is to much I just haven't hit it yet.

I know what you mean!

It also helps with SWA giving me a $112 rt ding fare out of BWI How can you say no to that.

Never enough....
maybe when my kids list it in geography class as a national park, I will have to consider that there are other places to visit... :)

Every year after our trip to the "World" I think, maybe we should go somewhere else next year. Then, about 3 months later, the Disney Itch starts coming and we end up booking again.

So my answer is this: No, there is NOT such a thing as too much Disney. Just head to EPCOT's World showcase and go to Paris, Italy, Canada, Morocco.....................................

We've done Disney since 1977, over 38 visits. We've tried Myrtle Beach a few times and figure for the money and what you see and get, Disney is the place. Now, it's a no brainer in our home, say Disney and its when and for how long. It's me and the wife now, we're in our 50's and we call the kids and they say when and for how long too. We decided in our home, to stay happy and enjoy life we need Disney every six months if not sooner. When our daughter was doing the college program in Disney, we went down 3 times in 6 months, what a blast and after she came home and graduated from college, she went back to work for Disney, one year, to give it a try and again, me and wife went down 3 times. Those wetre some fine years. Needless to day, she came back to her home state and we're back to the 1 or 2 visits per year but for us, you can not get enough of Disney, each trip gets easier and you find new things to see and do and relax a heck of alot more while there.

I went two years in a row August 2004 and August 2005. On the second visit, my wife felt like we needed a break. So this past August we tried a lesser vacation, and boy did we regret it. We went to a quiet little place, that was nice, but once you do Disney, nothing can compare.

We decided after that trip that if we are only going to go away once a year, it has to be Disney, at least we feel like we are really on vacation when we go there.

I am going this August and I am staying for 12 days. I really miss it now that I skipped a year.

The way I see it if you are going to spend hard earned vacation dollars, why not spend it on the best. I can't think of any other place in the world that I would rather vacation.

I think once or twice a year is just perfect. We skipped a year after our 2nd visit and went to US/IOA and I was kinda disappointed. There's nothing like DW! :cheer2:

This was our thoughts exactly after our third trip in three years straight. Three months after returning from that trip, we bought DVC :thumbsup2 Not too much for us. Must be something about the three month ITCH :rotfl:

This year - twice.

And to answer your question - nope.

Yes, there can be too much magic - 'cause it's expensive! Can't afford it! :guilty:

However, BIL and SIL just got back from their 8th trip since our Grand Gathering last October this time. Is that too much magic? 8 times in one year's span? :confused3

And no, we don't live close, we're in another state. If we lived within a short driving distance, we'd probably go for the weekends or something. :p

We don't do dining plans, because eating at disney is not part of our experience. We buy 10 day (non-expiration) tickets because they are cheaper, and you can stay close to Disney for less money. We discovered it is affordable (for us) depending on how you choose to vacation. We do not put a lot of stock into where we eat, because it is not our "cup of tea". Some people receive a lot more gratification from big meals than us, but we do prefer staying on site, for the total experience. Everyone is different in what they want out of their vacation.

No such thing as too much! :teeth:

My sig will show that we average 3 trips per year split between DL & WDW, but 2006 will be a record for us with 6! Circumstances just lined up for a couple of extra trips this year...

I would do it if I could, but money just doesn't allow it. I know we could do better by staying off-site, and for years that's all we did. Then we stayed at the AKL and it was the greatest thing. Just ride the Disney transportation system to get everywhere you want to go. We stayed off-site a couple of times after that, but staying onsite is so much more relaxing.

If one of the CMs could just hand me a DVC membership in the year of a million dreams contest, I would be one happy camper. :woohoo:

My first trip was in 2003 (for 5 days) and I was happy and told myself that I would probably never come back, well one year later, we decided to do a grand gathering,(2004, 7 days) and again, I told myself, wow I was fortunate enough to see it twice. In 2005,(10 days) my sister and I decided to go to Disneyland, so I was very thrilled to see it... and said ok this will be it... well we managed to save up some money and we'll be going again in 2007 (14 days)... ha! noticed that the stays are getting longer!!! I can't get enough of it, I envy those going twice or more a year!!! :)

We haven't hit the "too much" mark yet (although I suppose our friends and family think we have). DS (4) thinks Disney is our Vacation house, and is always either planning our next time, or asking when it will be. Upcoming trip will be our 3rd in one year - and we don't live at all close to WDW. But, Since we got AP's and have DVC pts to spare, what a grand excuse to get a 3rd trip in?! If you love it, and can afford it, go for it!!!

If we could afford it we'd go more. Had to skip a trip for 2006, but we are going March 2007!! Chances are the next trip will be 2009.

Nope, never...ever too much Disney for me! Any place that makes me feel as happy inside and smile as much, as the mere thought of Disney does, can never be too much for me.
