Is there such a thing as an annual pass discount at the Movies?

I've been calling several times a day to convert my Disney Club All Star Movie reservation in early December to an annual pass rate. So far, no luck. Am I just wasting my time? Thanks!

Maybe. Although there have been AP rates offered at Movies in the past, they are generally much more limited than the other All Star Resorts. There are many times that AP rates are offered at Sports and Music, but not at Movies. Apparently, Movies is more popular than the other two and Disney does not have a lot of difficulty in filling it up. IMHO, this is especially true due to the number of packages that have been sold. Also, you may be traveling during the same time as the Pop Warner kids. If so, I suspect that all of the All Star Resorts are booked to near capacity.

If you can use the Disney Club 800 TN to check, there's certainly no harm in trying to get a better rate. Good luck!

It is only for one night, but arriving 12/20 and getting 2 rooms at the AP rate was wonderful. When I booked it a number of weeks ago the CM was as surprised as I was to discover availability there with the discount. I think I am paying about $50-55 a night per room. My paperwork is in another part of the house and I have already paid it in full so the amount is not stuck in my head. Keep trying... those AP discounts DO exist! :wave2:

They definitely did have an AP rate for it a while ago.We were thinking about staying there for our first night before the Poly and was quoted $49.They said it was very limited. The night we were looking for was December 6th.

Update!!!

I called at 6:30 this morning, and there were no annual pass rates anywhere at the All Stars for my dates. I decided to try again just for the heck of it at 10:15 am this morning - and guess what! They had an annual pass rate for all three of my nights!!!!
I guess perseverance does pay off. Thanks everyone for the replies.
