Is there such a place?

On our June WDW trip, a Disney busdriver entertained us with WDW trivia. He asked if we knew of the resort on the grounds where the buses were not allowed to enter. When no one answered, he said there is an exclusive resort only for celebrities and politicians (so they could relax without being constantly "bothered"). Does anyone know
where this would be and what it's called? How come I never heard
about it before?

I once had a Disney bus driver tell me that Warner Brothers had property in south Fla that was bigger than WDW. WB was going to build 3 or 4 parks and many hotels. That was about five years ago. Haven't heard a thing about it since. I think Disney bus drivers have very active imaginations.

The bus drivers will tell you anything just to entertain you. In 1998 we were staying at Dixie Landing (now known as Port Orleans Riverside). We were going to MGM.


the driver told us a wild story about how they dug up Rod Serling's body and buried it inside the Tower of Terror. Another time a driver told us the building being constructed near the tower was the new TOT. In reality it was Fantasmic.

I wouldn't put too much faith in what the bus driver is telling you.

However, when then President Clinton would visit WDW he would usually stay on Disney Institute property in one of the grand vista homes

I vaguely recall having a bus driver tell me how they had to change their normal routes when he was in town to avoid this area.
