Is there still Early Entry for DLR guests?

Has anything about this changed since May? We will be there in December again and I just want to make sure I'm up to date in my planning. Thanks!

We were just there Oct 21 - 26, staying at the Paradise Pier, and yes it's still in effect for all guests staying at one of the Disneyland Resort hotels.

Of course we're not early risers, so we didn't take advantage of it. We decided that sleeping in was more important on this vacation.

For a DLR guest, you can take advantage of early entry on all the days that it's offered during your trip. So, for example if you are there an entire week and staying at one of the Disneyland Resort hotels, you could go on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday. Those are the only days that early entry is available. Have a great trip in December!

Just adding. And the way it works is that you're given a little piece of paper, about the size of a credit card, that has the dates you're staying at a DLR hotel. You show that at the gate when you go into Disneyland to get early entry.

Wow, this is cool. im staying at the DLR Dec. 15th and 16th, do those days count? Also, we will be arriving at disneyland like at 7am, so we can valet park, and get our bags to the hotel, will they give us the morning tickets for that day if its available? or not until we check in officially, which will be way later that day, 3pm i believe. thx.

I'm curious about this as well... if we arrive in the afternoon, (what would you do for entertainment), then sleep get up early and do park... for two days... on third day can we do park even if we've checked out? Will they store our bags and stuff?

Brika, you can absolutely use EE the day you check out (if it's offered that day ). We always get up early, go for EE and then DH will wander back to the hotel to check out and get the bags secured with bell services while the kids and I have a snack. Later we just return to the hotel to collect our bags and catch a ride to the airport.

Wow.. I wish that I had know this on our last trips... I wondered what that was for, dummy me should have asked someone.. I was excited when we found the DLR entrance to the monorail ride back to the DH.

We are planning on getting to the hotel early in the morning on our 1st day, when we check in, we will get our tickets, so we should be able to get the early entry that day right??

Last year we arrived a day early too! We spend some time exploring the DH and had a fantastic early dinner at Rainforest cafe, walked around downtown disney... Build a bear workshop was fun too and my sister made the most adorable monkey dressed in mickey mouse club attire... There is a movie theatre there, so a movie could be another option for you...
