Is there still a line you need to wait in at the Mexico Pavilion?

I'm assuming you mean because of social distancing guidelines? Because I can't remember a time pre-covid where they had people in lines to get into the Pavilion.

And then I'm wondering why they are still social distancing inside this Pavilion...

Part of it was social distancing, but the other part is I've never seen the line for 3 Caballeros so long. I feel like pre-Covid it was usually a walk-on or at most 10 minutes, and now it regularly has a 45 minute plus wait. They also removed part of the queue house during Covid to help space out the market, and I don't think it's back yet.

Rose & Crown Pub is back to normal operations.

Now we just need to get the wonderful International Cast Members back behind the Bar!
This will make my birthday even more enjoyable. I'm even more excited now to see Gavin and Charlotte.

I've waited in a very short line to get in pre-covid once or twice. It's not about distancing so much as simply being able to walk around. If the ride line gets too long it spills out into the shopping. If the restaurants lines get too long while folks are waiting, it spills out into the shopping area. They will occasionally hold people back to keep this under control.

Interesting!

I have never, ever seen them make people line up outside before Covid. But I've only been in June and October.

No doubt, over many years I have never waited in line to get into Pavilion until three weeks ago. Line only took about 15 minutes so no big deal, but I was definitely surprised.

There are some International CMs at the Rose and Crown. Carl is still there sometimes and I definitely heard some other British accents behind the bar when we were there.

I didn't see much queueing outside of Mexico at the beginning of May, but they did have queueing set up inside still. The longest line was always for the Cava del Tequila, CMs would let you through to get to the ride or to shop.

I wonder how this works for people in an ECV, who go in through a side door (that way they don't encounter stairs). Is there a CM stationed at the side door to monitor how many go in?

I was in a full capacity enchanted tiki room last week. I had to walk past the Mexico pavilion because the line was in Norway. It’s all weird, because I too remember walking on both of these rides in the last 5 years on Columbus Day weekend and Halloween…

The cattle chute in the Three Caballeros line is the worst! Very claustrophobic in the portion of the queue.

I've seen lines for the Mexico pavilion during a Spring Break with Easter and during NYE, both outside of covid. Rarities too.

Went to Epcot twice last week and there was a line. The weird thing is that there were actually 3 separate lines; one for the ride, one to shop, and another for the margaritas. The wait for the boat was maybe 10 minutes, I didn't see anyone waiting to shop, but the margarita line was painfully long and slow.

So many of the food lines are crazy long, which I think is a result of not having the staff to open all of the restaurants or all of the cashiers at quick service.

The Mexico pavilion line was all the way to Norway? And what does the tiki room (which is at MK) have to do with anything? Confused… 🤔

I think they're giving two separate examples - first, that they experienced a full Tiki Room attraction recently (maybe meaning they had to wait for the next showing because the one about to start was full and/or that they're packing the room to capacity instead of distancing?)... and then also that the line to enter the indoor area of the Mexico pavilion was stretched all the way to Norway. Maybe both examples pointing to increased capacity?

Maybe :confused3 But a line to Norway for the Mexico pavilion (which BTW I’m not convinced of) would imply really low capacity, not increased capacity. Still confused lol

We'll be there in two weeks, my kids' favorite ride has always been the Three Caballeros - guess we'll have to head there right at rope drop, which we have never ever done!

I mean, I've seen the line for the pavilion stretched well out on to the main walkway, so I think it's conceivable that it could stretch all the way back to the "border" between the two countries. And a longer line would most definitely point to increased park capacity - more guests in the park creating longer lines.
