Got a quote from Magical Vacations for Aug 18 - 24 at Yacht Club standard Room and 5 Day Tickets for $2,167 (2 adults, 2 children age 16). Same date at Grand Floridian was for $2,572. Got a pin for Aug 4 -10 and the price was over $3000, so the quote from Magical Vacations was better than the pin.

I booked with Magical Vacations as well. We will be there Aug. 18-25 at the Grand Floridian with 8 day PH w/ a bonus feature for less than 2,500.

I forgot to mention that the tickets came with a bonus feature (admission to DisneyQuest, the water parks or round of golf). Can't beat that deal.

Upgraded our August 16-30 booking from AOA to CBR tonight! Cant wait! First time staying moderate and we still have two nights we have to book at end if our trip! Hoping for both free dining and a great room discount but won't cancel if neither come along just would be a really nice bonus

I'm curious- for those of you that booked bounceback last August for this August what were your stay dates last year? We'll be there early/mid August and I sure would like some hope for bb.

We were there from Aug 23 to Sept 2nd and then again for one night Nov 14th. The same Aug BB was available both times.

I am so over waiting for fd...got a great quote from *** and am trying to convince DH to just go that route...YC is cheaper but how could we pass up that amazing GF rate?! Should have an answer out of him tonight. Woohoo!

Well, with the announcement today regarding upcoming free dining, I think I'm out for this year unfortunately.

We just can't do it without a discount, and right now there are NO discounts out for the last part of August, and its not looking like we can switch our dates either.

Just curious what *** is? How are you getting such great rates at the GF and YC? We love BC/YC. Best pool on the grounds however we also love GF because of the location. Any info on how to get great rates at GF would be appreciated. Thanks!

Magical Vacation Travel (google it, I can't post a link).

They have a great deal for August for the YC/BC and GF, although I think the BC is sold out at this point. Send in a request for a quote. I got two standard rooms at the BC for 8/18-8/23 along with 8 day park hoppers for five people (all disney adults) and a bonus feature (water park entry) for about $3200.

I am using them for the first time this August. I did search on here and ask around before booking with them. They are an authorized WDW vacation planning company based in NJ. They buy up blocks of rooms at low prices, so that is how they get those discounts. The tickets they offer are "convention tickets", which are totally legit, but not as flexible as a MYW ticket, so again, there is a savings there.

Once you book with them, they forward you the confirmation straight from Disney. You can then use that confirmation number to go on MDE and view your reservations, link them to your dining, etc. The only thing I can't do so far is make a payment on Disney's website. I was able to book all my ADRs, and DME, and already got my luggage tags, etc.

So far it's been an easy experience!

Yep, we got a Disney confirmation and our CC statement shows the charges right from Disney. They have been great to work with and we are ridiculously excited to have a chance to stay in a deluxe for such a low rate!

I booked with MTV for this August for the first time also. They did take a day to get back to me. Check your spam folder because that is where I found mine. So far all has gone well and they have been very easy to work with.

Do we have to book DME on our own when booking through *** or will they do it? I have not booked mine because I thought they were doing it but maybe not. I have not received any luggage tags yet.

One thing to keep in mind when booking this was is that you are not able to add a disney dining plan (if you wanted to have the option) unless the room and tickets are purchased together as a vacation package.
