Hi ADisneyQueen. We had a pin code when we booked our room at Poly but we're keeping our fingers crossed for the FD too! We've managed to scrape money off this trip little by little at every turn so far (we're going to US first, staying at HR) so we're hoping our luck holds out!

Just booked our August trip Five nights with just me and the boys at CSR, then hubby joins us for two nights at the Poly

Anyway, can you tell me what the % off the room is? I'm hoping for 30%, but guessing it won't be that high for the Poly...

I am hoping I can word my question where so it makes sense. We are staying at POR from 8/8 thru 8/17. I got a pin code for 35% off of room but since that offer only starts on the 11th, I would have had to move my travel dates around or attempt to go with two different packages. Neither was an option that worked for us. Do you think this will be the only discount that we may see for the dates we are travelling? I am starting to feel like I am travelling at the only point Disney may not offer some kind of special. Any insight would be appreciated.

A PIN code is a code you get either in your e-mail or regular mail with some special discount for certain travel dates (examples: free dining, percentage off a room). That PIN is for YOU only as it attached to your name, the name you will be checking in under (so if another DISer got one but wouldn't be using it for those dates, there is no way he would be able to give it to you). You can always call Disney and ask if you have a PIN attached to your name, sometimes there is, sometimes there isn't.
Bounceback is an offer that you may find in your room when you check in, guranteeing a specific promotion will be applied if you book your vacation before you leave WDW for the dates provided for your bounceback offer (which could be a year away, when we go in August there is usually a bounceback for Free Dining for the next August). Hoping that was coherent haha

The pin is for 8/11 - 9/28. I got a post card at my home in my moms name. When I called, the same pin was also under my name and my hubby's, so we were able to use it. The last day to book under this pin is 2/16. We are booked for 8/17-8/24.

I'm booked from 8/14 - 8/21. I used a PIN that was e-mailed to me. I believe we ended up with 25% off at POR. If they offer free dining, I will switch to that because it will be a better savings. However, if the free dining is just a quick service plan, I won't bother changing.

You can upgrade to a higher service. We got the qsp last year n updated for about $200 more for table service. Well worth it!

I just booked n put my deposit down for last week in Aug for POP n just got the Disney card! Hopefully FD will come soon!
