Is there really enough to do to stay for 10 days at WDW?

Last summer we were in FL for a month! We visited relatives in Sarasota FL for 4 days, we went to Disney for 10 days, Universal for 6 days, then back to Disney for another 10 days. We could have stayed even longer! We are still adding to our list of 'have not seen/must do' for our next trip. Seriously, there is so much to see and do that I don't know if our list will ever be completed...and that is just fine with me!

We've never gone for 10 days but that's what I'm planning for our next trip...and I'm having trouble fitting everything I want to do in! So the short answer is, YES.

Wow really? IS there things you can combine in one day.. Say Wide World of sports and something else?....We are going to get park hoppers and Water parks and more tickets

There is: we usually go mid to late August, and we'll do half a waterpark day, and then have a stroll around Epcot or our resort (OKW) in the evening. We also find that waterparks are one of the more relaxing parts of the trip, because even when we were there (and the crowds were INSANE) the waterparks are never quite as busy!

Don't feel like you have to double up and do half days everywhere, 10 days is more than enough time, just prioritise what you want to do and go with the flow!! :D

I'm a teacher and my co-workers tease me because as soon as school's out, I head to Disney. I always that I would live there all summer if they (and my hubby) would let me!

We leave in a couple of hours to WDAw. ;)

Our first trip was 10 days and it was not nearly long enough.

Our second trip was 14 days and I will admit we were starting to hit burn out at that point.

So, I vote for 10-12 as the perfect number. :rotfl2:

This year we will only be there 5 days. If you see a screaming/crying woman yelling "I don't wanna go" while being carried out to the parking lot at the end of July, just move along. I'm sure I'll recover. Someday. :lmao:

I'd say depends on what sort of trip you want to have. Some people believe they are there for the theme parks - ride everything, see every show and that's it. A resort or off-site place is just somewhere to sleep and it's go go go.

For us, it's a resort trip. Yes the theme parks are part of it, but so is mini-golf, water parks, resort pool and activities, shopping, resort hopping, etc. So we like 10 days to really do it all. We'll do things like family bingo at the pool, shuffleboard, kids Wii Bowling tournament, fireworks and Electrical Water Pageant at the beach at Fort Wilderness. I've said that some people go to beach or island resorts just to do the things that are considered "extras" at Disney resorts and love it. Take time and enjoy it all!

I'm jealous. I'd love to go for 10 days. I think there is plenty to do plus you could slow down and really relax more.

I thought I was going to be going to 7 days for our upcoming family trip but nope - my husband wanted me to knock it down to 5 again because he doesn't want to be gone that long. Very disappointing.

So even if you end up going for only 7 days - have some extra fun for me. :thumbsup2

Well after our first trip our kids asked if they could move and live in Disney! I think 10 days would be perfect! We are doing 8 this time and I'm already seeing I would love the extra time.

We are doing our first 10 day stay not long from now. I am so excited! We've done nine before, but my DD was much younger and didn't ride as much. We did eight days on our last trip which is when she started to get more into thrill rides. Now she's a little daredevil and a teenager!! This 10-day mother/daughter retreat is going to be a BLAST!!

If I saw that, I'd look on with complete sympathy and understanding :lmao: after a 10 day trip last year, I was definitely the crazy lady sobbing on the Magical Express back to the airport. And then tearful in the airport... and crying when the plane took off. Ahh, humiliation :rotfl:

Two years ago we went for two weeks and after 11 days seriously discussed checking out and going home. There was plenty more for us to do, but we were tired. We decided to stay and the following day we caught our second wind. When it was time to leave we were sad to go.

Last year we went for *only* 10 days. It wasn't enough.

I was so upset when leaving POFQ this year that a nice CM come to see if I was alright and she gave me Mickey stickers to cheer me up. Didn't help but I was so touched I smiled a little.

I think it would be awesome! It's so hard to stay out late for all nighttime shows/parades/fireworks and still get up early for rope drop. Especially if you have young ones. 10 days would allow you to stay late, sleep in, stay late, sleep in, etc. Plus you could build in down days, days to visit or eat at other resorts.

I use to go for days and Realized its Just Not Enough!!! I know Many people Love the Park Hopper Options but my Opinion is Staying all Day at just ONE Park is Perfect. You have so much time to Enjoy the Whole Park, Shows, Parades, and Food!! So Figure there is 4 days Right there. Then Universal you can do 1-2 days. You got Downtown Disney, Any Shows you may wanna see(Medival Times, Pirates Adventure) So there is 7-8 days right there. You def want to take a day or two just to relax between days and explore your hotel and surrounding areas. We stay off site so we go to Old Town and have fun with the Rides, Food, and Shopping. Then you got the Malls, Markets, all kinds of things!! I stayed for 2 weeks one time and has been the Top of our List for Best Vacation!!! Theres SOOO Much more I haven't even mentioned that I may not even know about to do!!!! But there is PLENTY to do in 10 days, just pace yourself!! You don't need to do so much in 1-2 days. Space it out and have a Great time!! Many Families Cant even experience that Long because of Work or Money!!! Its amazing and Hope You have a Great time!!! Were taking our 10 day Vaca in Oct 2013!!!! EXCITED!!!! :cool1:

We are about to go for 15 days. I still can't fit everything in I want to do and this will be our fifth trip in the last 7 years. We have a day at Sea World and another at Discovery Cove but other than that its Disney all the way :)

So jealous! WISH I could stay for at least 10 days...ahhh, sounds like luxury to me!

It truly is.:thumbsup2

We've had ten trips since August 2005.

1 twelve nights stay,8 fourteen nights,1 fifteen nights.
Nowhere near long enough! Always need more.:rotfl2:

In August we've got 17 nights- and fully intend to visit parks everyday.
Next year,we've finally booked 21 nights,and I cant wait! :yay::yay:

Our longest trip has been 6 nights and I am dreaming of a 10 day trip! Days in between park days to sleep in, swim in the pool, trounce around on the monorail and eat/shop at different resorts, spend a leisurely afternoon or 2 at Downtown Disney, finally check out the Boardwalk and the resorts in that area, relax and just breath it in before it's all just a memory in the blink of an eye.

I'm starting to think a Disney vacation should be a MINIMUM of 10 days!

10 days is the norm for us anything under is just a mad dash to hit the highlights. With 10 days there is still plenty to do.:thumbsup2
