Is there really enough to do to stay for 10 days at WDW?

10 days is what we call a very, very short trip
maybe it's because we're from europe, and a 9hrs, $1000+pp economy flight sure calls for a longer stay in Florida.
We always stay for at least 21 nights at a time (sometimes 2 times a year) and we never get bored. There is always something to do and something to see.
we probably wouldn't consider going if it were for only 10 days. But if we only had to cross the USA, then maybe 10 days would seem enough, but as far as I'm concerned 14 days is my bare minimum for a WDW stay

We are doing 10 days .... Leaving in just 14 days!!!!

We planned 2 days Magic Kingdom
2 days Epcot
2 days Hollywood Studios
2 days Animal Kingdom.... Well half days and play in Coronado Pool

Oh my, yes! Our first trip was an 8 day and every trip since then so far since have been 10 days. There really is so much to do and see to fill a lifetime of trips. To me, WDW isn't just about accomplishing everything I can in a trip but it is about experiencing what makes Disney such a magical place. With doing a 10 day trip you can tour at a "relaxed" pace. While walking around you will notice that the attention to detail is amazing. Different areas have different smells and the detail work and hidden mickeys from the buildings to the ground etc is quite interesting. If you are doing a fast paced "worrying about getting to the next attraction on time" kind of touring you might miss some of the magic that only Disney provides ;)

We are going in Dec this year for 12days/11 nights. Last yr we only went 6days/5 nights and didn't hardly see anything so we doubled the time we will be down there this year! We are doing 2 1/2 days at MK, 1 day at Ep, 1 day at HWS, 1 day at AK, 1/2 day at DTD (the day we arrive) 2 days at Universal (1 day at each park) 1 day at Seaworld and 1 day at Holyland Experience with some shopping in between. We don't have a down day for us at all- We can catch up on sleep when we are at home! LOL. I was thinking this we be enough time down there- now I am questioning myself and I know it isn't enough. We would also like to go to Cocoa beach again for 1-2 days, do Busch Gardens, Legoland, Cape Carnaval oh so many things to see! I could be down there for at least a month and not see everything I want to see. Have fun on your trip!

We arrive one year from today with 10 days PH/WPM and will stay 15 nights so we have full use of the 14 days to use them. We make sure that each trip we do something we have never done previously.

How do you have next year booked already?

It was an earlier comment---we haven't booked, just decided on which dates to go. We are renting points from a DVC owner and can book that 11 months out. Since he can book it that early we had to get out ducks in a row and decide dates.

We are now thinking of going for 10 day instead of 7 is there enough to do for 10 days?

Sorry I don't know and can't help you answer your question if there is enough to do for 10 days as we typically stay at least 2 weeks!:wizard:pixiedust:

I don't think anyone in the history of Disney has ever left their vacation saying "gosh, I wish I didn't stay so long" LOL

I could definitely stay at Disney World and have plenty to keep me busy for more than 10 days!!!

I went in January for my birthday and spent 11 days. I took one day to go to Universal, but the other time was all at WDW. I did multiple visits to each park (even AK, with park hoppers), character breakfasts, signature dinners every night, both dinner shows, La Nouba, Disney Quest and mini golf, an afternoon at the one water park that was open, and I saw every parade and fireworks show at least once!

If I go again in January next year I think I want to do some of the tours too.

Every time I stay for 7 days, I WISH I had stayed for 10 or 14!! I never seem to get done everything I mean to do. There are so many things to do in addition to the Parks to easily fill up 10 days at least. For example, I always go in to my trips meaning to spend some time at other resorts, and I never seem to get around to it.

OMG Yes!! We stay a minimum of 10 days every Summer. We have DVC & Annual Passes. We try to add something different each year & add those days after the 10 Disney Days :thumbsup2

Absolutely! We always go for 8 days at least (when I was a kid my family would go for 3 weeks!) and I feel like I never have time to do half of what we had planned

Defiinitley! We recently stayed for 7 days and we could have easily stayed for 10+!!!! We didn't get to do nearly as much as we would have hoped for, but there is always next time! :cool1:

I love slowing down and relaxing. You don't feel like you have to do everything in one day. Lots of pool days and sipping your beverages.

We have been there for 11 days once, which is actually only 9 park days with 2 travel days. We didn't do JUST DISNEY. We went to other parks.

We went to AK, MK, HS, EP, SW, IOA, US, TL and DQ/Cirque.
