Unless you are flying upper class I don't think so, if you are on an A330 or refurb 747 you can connect iPad or iPhone to IFE system that may charge at the same time but I don't know for sure

not in economy. the IFE does not charge the electronics on the refurbs either.

We are on the A330 now and you can charge you iPhone, iPad and iPod touch via USB! (we are in economy)!

Thanks, ava has antibiotics and im still doesed up on lemsip, then had a call from my sil to say that our nephew has just been to dr with tonsilitus and so we have two ill toddlers now and one ok twin at the moment! Lets hope it gets better by thursday

Actually you can now access the Internet through your iPhone mid flight... But it costs a fortune!!

Hi, we didn't use the Internet, but I was able to charge my phone up which was handy! We got away on time and the flight only took 7,1/2 hrs!

Thanks I was on the refurb virgin plane and you could charge iPhone or iPad which was good as it had a USB
