Is there NO parking at DTD Marketplace now?

Like everyone, I am trying to figure out if we should drive or take the bus next week. Is there no parking at the market place and a garage at West side???? Confused reading other posts. What is the latest drving/parking like there?

There is parking across the street in a variety of lots. By across the street I mean on the side where the Hess gas station is. You then have to walk from the lot you pull into to DTD. It can be a long walk depending on which lot is open when you are pulling in but it isn't as bad as walking from the Garage to the Marketplace.

I highly recommend taking the bus. Driving down there right now can be a bit of a nightmare especially if it is really busy or crowded.

Thank you. It must be really bad if the advice is to take the bus! The bus rides to and from DTD are notoriously tiresome.

Can I ask a related question? We are getting off the DCL cruise 7/4 in the morning and our flight home doesn't leave until 8pm. So we have a rental car and are planning on going to DTD for the day. Can you tell me where I can/should park? I'm not familiar at all with the DTD area. Thanks.

It depends on what part of DTD you want to visit. The garage on the west side is the easiest although there can be long lines pulling into the garage and it is a long walk from the garage to the marketplace. Parking is usually available on the upper levels but most people drive in circles looking for a spot on the ground level which is what creates the traffic back up.

If you want the marketplace they usually have lots open across from DTD on the side of the street where the Hess gas station is located. However the lots aren't clearly visible. You have to look for "park here" signs and/or Disney employees who can guide you.

However this may change by July 4. Since the area is under A LOT of construction things are changing constantly.
