Is there life outside the Dis?

No wait a minute, I'm serious. I find that when I do most of my surfing, I almost always find myself cruisin' back here to the Dis. I find myself cruisin' down the Super Information Highway Rte 1 and I see the Exit sign for the Dis and I say to myself, "Oooo, gotta make a stop," and I do. Not that I don't like it here, because I do. It's just I can get so much here, political threads, fun threads and informative threads, and even threads where people profess their geekness for the movie "The Dark Crystal." Sorry TheOtherVillainess, couldn't resist. Besides, I'm right there with ya. I'm a geek too. ...I love that movie. So am I in this bus alone or are there others? Maybe while cruisin' I can find a 12 step program for the Dis.

Yes, I feel confident there is! I know I have actually spoken to other people in the past! Yes, I would say there must be life outside the DIS!!

I probably spend more internet time here than I should. I enjoy the variety of opinions here. Thare are some posters who really impress me with their intelligence and insight -and that's not even counting the one's I mostly agree with. My DIS enjoyment has gone up 100% since I started cruising on by many political threads. I have learned to tell at a glance if a thread of that genre is something I should click on or not.
