Is there Internet service at the Poly?

The only internet service in ALL of Disney is at the boardwalk buisness center. There are two computers and you pay $10 for each 15 minutes. It's insane.

I think you can do dial up in the hotel rooms. However, you can go to any business center (Contemporary, boardwalk ...) and use their computer or take your own. I think any resort with a convention center has broadband in the rooms.

My DH was thinking of taking his laptop so dial-up would be okay. Maybe I'll just call the Poly - it just seems like the DISers know more than the employees!

Actually, many of the deluxe and DVC resorts have high speed internet connections in the rooms for about $10/day. Some of the lobbies and other areas also have WiFi.

The Polynesian has dial up I believe although we've never used it. We did use the connection in BCV last trip. I'm not sure if the Polynesian doesn't offer more because of the rather unique construction of its rooms or to retain that oasis in paradise ambience....or some other reason I haven't thought of.
