Maybe now seems like a bad idea but for my ?9th birthday I chose to go to UO for lots of fun forget my age act like a big kid and oh yeah the FJ ride. We are going July 9-13 staying on site . After reading about the loooooong lines for the ride I was wondering if there is FOTL for FJ and is there early admission to the parks for on site guests? I guess the best strategy would be to get there as early as possible.

What are the crowds like in the rest of the park and Studios?? Is it more crowded than normal or less because everyone is flocking to HP?

Thanks:goodvibes

If you read some of the threads here you will get a better idea of what to expect. FJ has no express line from what has been reported and on site guests have early access to WWOHP so try to get up early :thumbsup2

Thanks...I was remembering from the past when new rides/attractions opened there was FOTL access but your card was scanned and there was a time limit as to when you could re ride. I didnt know if FJ had that.

They do have single rider but the line bypasses a lot of the interior of the castle.

When I called to make hotel reservations earlier this year, I was told that we'd get one FOTL pass, per day, for FJ. I could swear that I read that on these boards as well. Sounds like perhaps this was a case of misinformed people on the phone? I know that a lot of inconsistent answers were given out.

You are not imagining things... I was told the same thing when I made my reservations way back when... we are going in two weeks... hopefully they will have the kinks worked out with the onsite guests getting in early, etc.

It's probably just miscommunication between the park and the hotel.

On the park maps, FJ does not have the Express icon next to it. The other two rides do.

I just was on the phone with Universal tonight about an hour ago and FOTL access is not going to be used for FJ. I go in August and our trip has to be paid for tomorrow so we were calling to make sure things were okay and we were told that and we are very upset because when we first made reservations we were told we could ride it once with FOTL access which is why we got the package and now you cant.

If you go during your early entry, you will not need it. My advice is to go through the entire queue on your first early access morning. The rest of the time, use the single rider's line. I think it would be even faster than express, if express existed, judging by other rides that have all three lines. You have no contact with the rest of your party during the ride anyways and you all get off at the same place.

We just went June 19th. We stayed at HRH. On June 19th we got early entry from 6-9 am. We got to the ride's line at 8 am. We waited for 2 hours to ride. Once we were done riding, all the stores in that section had huge lines waiting to go in and the lines for the Butterbeer were very long as well. Later in the day there was a 6 hour long wait just to get into that section of the park. We got a note from the hotel that on June 20th early access was from 8-9 am. So they are changing it daily.

I was also there on those days. Since they didn't tell me about the park opening at 6am on the 19th, I went early on the 20th even though it said 8am. We ended up getting to go into the park at 7:15am and the WWoHP at 7:30am. It does seem like they are changing the opening time daily.
