Is there criteria in adding extra park day for $10?

Resort concierge is hit or miss for adequate ticket upgrades - we've had some bad experiences at a few of the resorts. Wasted time and messed up tickets. We will only do ticket upgrades at the parks from now on.

Sorry to bring this up again but due to change of park hours, I decided to go to park on the day of our arrival. Because we can't go to park until we pick up package for F&W marathon at 10 am and our flight arrives before 5 am, we have time to kill.

I want to add 2 more days to my 7 days park hopper. Do I have to "check in" at any park first before I can add 2 more days or can I add 2 more days before going to any park since I have few hours to kill in the morning?

If your current tickets are part of a "Resort Package," you need to activate the tickets before upgrading them.
That can be done as early as up to 10 days before your check-in date.

Very simple to do.
Go to any ticket booth or Guest Relations outside any theme park, or water park, or at TTC, or at Disney Springs and show a photo ID and ask that your tickets be activated.

Next, right there, ask to upgrade by adding two more days to the tickets.

The cost to add TWO more days will be $21.30 per ticket, including tax.

Hi Robo,

I only have "room only" for my upcoming trip. I bought my tickets from Parksavers - buy 4 days, get 3 days free so I guess it's not part of a resort package.

If that is the case, I have to use it first before I an add 2 days?

Thank you

Nope.
Just go to any ticket booth or Guest Relations and do the upgrade.

If you get quoted a higher price, don't accept the deal.

I'm not Robo, but no, you don't have to use the ticket first.

I guess Robo beat me to it. ;)

@siskaren, @Robo, thank you both.

@Robo, I will do as you say and won't accept any other deal than $21.30! :worship: Writing it down on my "cheat sheet" so i won't forget. My memory is not like it used to be.
