Is there anywhere a three year old can nap if needed?

Sorry for all the questions today but we will only be in the park for one day on Saturday and I am trying to think and plan for every possible thing that might come up to make our trip the best it can be. I am hoping our granddaughter will make it through the day and be a trooper but it is likely she will crash at some point and we may need to have her in a cool place for a little bit. We are not staying on property. Is there any place that we can take her where she will can nap for a little bit? Even if I just have to hold her in my arms? It has been two years since I have been to Disney and I have never gone with a child under ten so I have no clue on this one so any help is greatly appreciated. We are traveling in a small car so we aren't sure yet it we are taking her stroller or if we are just going to rent one there if she gets tired.

There's always the Hall of Presidents. I imagine that it wouldn't be an issue if you just sat in the lobby of that show rather than actually go in the show. It wouldn't necessarily be super quiet, but it would be air conditioned. Right next to the Hall of Presidents outside, there used to be (and I believe there still are) two rocking chairs up on a very small porch. When we were little eons ago, I feel like that was a go-to spot for my grandmother to take us and rock us every now and then. Once again, there will be people walking by you so it won't be "quiet," but it may be relaxing...

You could also always hop on a monorail and head to any of the hotel lobbies on the loop and sit in in their lobbies.

Strollers are perfect for this. Especially those where the back lays down so they can lay flat. Worked great our first few years with our youngest. Plus, it keeps you portable. You're not stuck in one place while they nap.

DS has always fallen asleep in his stroller in MK and then woken up in a deluxe lobby. Usually, we head to the restroom once he is up and then grab a snack at the resort quick serve and head back to the park. DH and I get to explore the deluxe monorail resorts and take turns shopping while he sleeps.

I would probably plan for a stroller for a 3yo. If you can get her to fall asleep in that, you're golden. There are a million places to wheel her to cool off from there...indoor dining areas of CS restaurants, HOP like PP said, shops, etc. Baby Center may also be an option, but I've never been in one.

Hall Of Presidents Lobby - usually quiet and air con so its a nice area to take a break
Walt Disney Railroad - sit near the back to avoid the loud whistle should be a nice little ride for you whilst your little one has a nap

Thanks everyone for all the replies. I had actually mentioned the Hall of Presidents to my husband. We will definitely try to fit the stroller in the car, making it a priority!

Places my son has napped in the MK: stroller, hall of presidents, enchanted tiki room, people mover (they were super nice and let us stay on for multiple loops), carousel of progress, and it's a small world ride (honestly I have no idea how he slept thru the music).

He's a trooper and will just close his eyes and go to sleep anywhere as long as he's half way comfy.

Would it be okay to use the Baby Care center as a place to get out of the heat? I'm guessing these are supposed to be mostly for the under 3 year old set, but I thought I would throw it out there.

Good answers above. If its not too hot, there's a walkway that starts near Space Mountain and heads back toward the rear of the park. I think it comes out in Fantasyland. Its not used a lot and is quiet except when the train goes by. You could also leave the park for a bit, take the resort monorail over to the Polynesian and chill in the lobby or if its nice, outdoors in the back of the hotel.

Is she a heavy or a light sleeper? My niece can sleep thru anything and an awesome place is the train station at MK, it offers the all important A/C. If you go inside there are plenty of benches that are always available, but every 10 minutes or so the train pulls in and blows the horn. She has slept thru it.
Outside there's a small quite area by the jewelry store, it's a small alley that ends up with tables and chairs, it's usually quite and empty but the weather might be an issue

My first thought is an umbrella stroller and take a break with her in the shade. I would imagine a 3 year-old would be exhausted with all the walking involved. Good luck fitting it in the car, as you stated earlier!

Not just the lobby for Hall of Presidents, the show itself is an excellent place for everyone (not just the kiddos) to catch a quick snooze. It's dark and cool. Not that I don't enjoy that attraction, but it can double as a napping spot if need be.

Carousel of Progress is another good one.

Yes! I forgot all about the baby care center. The handful of times I have been in there it has been empty. It's fairly large with multiple smaller rooms. If I'm not mistaken, there is a room with a tv and rocking chairs. I'm sure it's geared towards nursing moms but like I said, it's been empty when I have been in there. The attendants are super helpful and friendly too.

We are going to Disney on this Thursday, and we are bringing our umbrella stroller (Summer 3D one convenience stroller) for our 3yr old. We downgraded from our Britax (we might still bring that one instead), but an umbrella has a small footprint and won't take up much room. I think a stroller is definitely needed for park action, especially since it gets so tiring for little ones. It also makes it easier to get from point A to point B. My kid has two speeds: 11. running randomly everywhere or 2. laying down on the ground and rolling around, so a stroller is really needed. Rent or bring a stroller! If you are going to buy one down here, I recommend going to Babies r Us and getting their new ZoBo stroller (it was our 2. pick.) Good price and a good canopy. Don't forget to tie something to your stroller since the CMs play musical strollers - where you park it usually isn't where you find it!.

As for rest, all the baby care places are wonderful. I really like the AK! DTD has a lousy one, but the rest of the parks are fine. The hotels are fun to visit, and there are great lounges and Quick services places where you can buy a snack and chill out. Don't tell anyone, but the top floor of Harbor House is really nice to relax at. When my husband reaches his "Stitch badness level" he grabs a potato at the potato cart, then we both head up to the top of the HH and chill out. There is stroller parking outside HH.

Have fun!

In the stroller, if you have one.

Hall of Presidents.

I saw a post on another thread that mentioned they have gone on the Tomorrowland transit/people mover and because there was no line they were able to just keep riding it for 30 minutes. Not sure about that. I no longer have little ones so never thought of the option other than stroller.
I like the idea of the Baby care center. That sounds relaxing.
