I've read many unfavorable posts about this place. But given that peopl with a bad experience are more likely to express their opinion,I would really love to hear from those of you who liked or loved it and why. Thanks!

Great atmosphere, great food (especially the lobster bisque and all of the desserts), wonderful service every time I've been...only bad point...it is a bit pricey. We usually try to go for lunch rather than dinner. It saves a few dollars.

DH and I loved the Coral Reef when we visited last summer. The Mahi Mahi was very fresh and tasty, the giant aquarium kept the kids entertained for hours and the waitstaff was very friendly and attentive. Honestly I think DH and I are very picky and typically are not enamored of Disney owned restaurants, but we were pleasantly surprised by the Coral Reef.

My DD and I are there during President's week this year. The food was excellent (she doesn't eat seafood, probably had chicken). I had a special. It was a little pricey, but definitely worth it - I would go back.

My fiance' and I went there last July. The Coral Reef is amazing! Excellent food, great atmosphere, and friendly wait staff. Like other posters said, it's pricey. We went for dinner and spent around $75 (including meal, tip, coffee & desert). Next time we'll go for lunch;)

BTW, I had the Mahi Mahi and even though I'm not a fish person, it was very good. Forgot what my fiance had.....

This is one place we've always intended to try, but never seem to get around to. I guess because there are so many other places at Epcot and close-by at BW and Y&B. Maybe we'll make it this time.

I think that for every person who loves a place, you will find another who's had a bad experience. RFC is frequently slated, but we enjoy it there - it certainly knocks spots off the other offerings at AK. I'd rather go and make up my own mind. At least that way you're not left wondering.

One of our favorites. Delightful food, beautiful and unique atmosphere, exceptional service. Although it is pricey, we believe it is worth the splurge!

Even though my last two experiences were bad (the food). I still recommend this place to people. It is pricey, but the atmosphere is PHENOM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! It is a must do in my book, even if it is overpriced and the food is mediocre. DO THIS!!!

Thanks to all. that makes me feel better!

We ate here last June and really liked it. The service was wonderful and the lobster bisque was yummy:p It is kinda pricey for what you get but worth a visit.

I totally agree with DVC nut. It was one of our favorite meals. I also suggest the lobster bisque...second only to Fulton's. I wanted to lick the bowl when Iwas done.

We love it there. My grandson's favorite. He loves to watch the fish. He's 10.
We love the food. It's superb and the presentation is great. No one is allowed to eat until my daughter takes a picture of it.
We try to do lunch there each trip. Same great food - lower prices.

We were there in June '02 for lunch. Excellent service (As always at Disney!), a great menu with lots of choices. My wife had shrimp pasta and I had the catfish. DD5 had pizza. It was all outstanding! It was a bit odd to be surrounded by the fish in the huge tank and be eating there cousins.............
The atmosphere and decorations were just fantastic!
