There is one poster on here that seems to always write replies in teeeeeny tinnnnnyyyy print and usually in some oddball color that is hard to read. I would love to be able to read all the replies on a post but have a difficult time with this one person.

Is there a way to only change to print size on a temporary basis(those replies only) I don't need everyone's replies made larger..just this one person's.

It is so hard to deal with when it is so small.

I know which poster you're talking about and I just skip their posts and don't bother reading it. It hurts my eyes!

I have no idea if there is a way to change the text.

Me, too. I finally gave up reading them. I never checked the name of the poster so I didn't even realize it was one specific person. I thought it was different people who did it.

I've noticed that, too. Tiny writing posters, we'll be glad to read and respond, but some of us have very old eyes!!!!! Get that font size up a little, please!!!

THANK YOU DAN!!!!!! THANK YOU!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

At first I did not thnk it was going to work for me but then I found a post that this person did and it WORKED like a charm!!!!!!!Thank you thank you thank you!!!!!!!!!

Dan....Is there a way to change the color too for this one person or is that too much to ask???? My eyes are terrible!!!!! I can live with being able to make the print larger!!!!! WOW!! WOW!!!!WOW!!!!

I have no idea why the posters doing that think their posts should be different, but they get their wish. They're so different I just skip right over them.

I end up skipping over those posts too, and it's a shame.

I also skip over posts where the poster doesn't use paragraph breaks. I have a very hard time reading posts that aren't broken up.

I don't use a mouse, but a touch pad on my laptop. I wonder if there's a little trick to enlarge the font with a touch pad.

Hold Ctrl down and try dragging finger up or down the right side of the touchpad. Nothing for the color that I know of.

I generally skip over posts which have no paragraph breaks and/or no caps, spaces between sentences, looks like one giant word.

I skip those difficult posts too. And I have really become a snob and decided life is too short and if the spelling is so bad I have to struggle to read it, I move on by. Life is too short.

Me too. I find it rude to purposely type in a way so that it can't be easily read.

I know what you all are talking about!

I often just skip those posts as well.

I kinda wonder if going thru the trouble to make ones post so 'different' and 'special' and to make that effort to make ones posts stand out is not some kind of a narcissistic thing????

There's no need to be mean about it. I doubt they're doing it to be "special" or narcissistic, but just want to be different.

Plus they might have their font size set a little larger in their browser, so the font actually looks like a normal size to them. I've seen that happen on other forums where it was pointed out to a person and they had no idea the font was so small to others.

What I do is just highlight the text as if I were going to copy it. That changes the color.

Thanks I will try the highlight thing...I did not think of that. The red color is not as bad since I can now make it larger(thanks to Dan) but it does still hurt my eyes. Ya know...a word or two every now and then in a post is not as bad but when you are reading along blah blah blah and most everything is "in black and white" and all of a sudden you come across one of those posts.......WOW..it just really hurts my eyes...kind of like a flashlight pointed at my eyes!!

I have tried skipping those posts in the past but sometimes I still have to go back and read it if it says something that someone replies to later in the post.I am glad Dab came to the rescue!! I knew I could make everything larger from the toolbar at the top but even though my eyes are bad I don't need everything on my computer enlarged ......yet!!
