Hi
just wondering if any tour ops (I'm thinking Thomas cook or thomson) use monarch planes? We want to avoid monarch as the last 2 times we have used them we have had delays of 10 plus hours. It's actually for a flight to eygpt.

Any help is appreciated.
Thanks

I think Thomas Cook use Monarch planes, we are flying with them to Spain in September and we booked it on the Thomas Cook website.

We booked with Thomas Cook last year and they sent a letter just prior to the flight saying the flight would be operated by Monarch. I completely agree with you about them - we had a 26 hour delay, no food on the plane, an unscheduled stopover etc. :sad2: We almost didn't want to go when we finally got on the plane.

Yes think Thomas Cook uses them. Just need to see the code for the planes from the airport you intend to travel with to see who operates what flights from that airport on the date you have chosen.

Thomas Cook uses them from Newcastle, we were unfortunate enough to use them last year. Thompsons use their own planes from Newcastle.
