Is there any point in doing a trial run on hair 11 months out?

I'm thinking of hiring someone to do my hair for our VR next year. From reading info sent by the different services, it's advised to do a trial run as close to the actual date as possible, but our only trip to WDW before the VR will be about 11 months out. Is there any point to doing a trial that far in advance, or should I just bring photos of what I'd like (nothing super-fancy) on the day of?

I'd appreciate any advice! :)

To me it would depend - will your hair at the 11 month point be basically the same as when the wedding will be. Then I probably would. If you are growing your hair out or there is a possibility that it would have a different cut or syle by then probably not worth it.

Yes, it will basically be the same, maybe just a tiny bit longer, as I keep it trimmed to about the same length all the time. :thumbsup2

I'd do it just to see if I meshed with the cosmetologist and whether s/he was able to understand what I was asking for. :thumbsup2

That's what I was thinking, too. And it's probably a good idea to see if someone can actually coerce my hair into something that looks better than my usual stack of hay, LOL. ;)
