Is there any hope of getting Be Our Guest?.....

I called today on my 180 day, and nada. BUT the CM on the phone was very optimistic and said a ton of last minute reservations have been opening up. She told me not to give up.

just canceled the reservation for 5 on aug 25th
Only limited relation to the thread, but Yachtsmen's Club is opened for booking for January 2014 now ... Just booked a table online for 17th January. :cool1::cool1::cool1:

I would check on line a couple times a day until you go. You never know what will open up when.

We just booked our trip for the first week of October a few days ago (celebrating my birthday while going to F&W fest for the first time). I got all of my reservations that I wanted (including an 8:20am CRT) but could not get a BOG dinner ADR. I kind of expected that since we are at 3 months out, however, I was on line checking the different times on different dates and a 8:55pm ADR popped up suddenly :cool1:. I am so excited that I was able to score the reservation even though it is really late (MK is opened until 11pm that day), but that is our last full day so we will be able to end our vacation at a wonderful place :goodvibes.

An update from my last post....

I decided to stalk the online dining to see if I could get an earlier ADR for BOG (8:55pm was just too late for us to eat). It took a while but I finally found one for 4:20pm on the same day as the other ADR. I am so excited that I was able to switch my ADRs out. Now I am just hoping that someone cancels a Wishes Dessert Party ADR for that same night and then my whole night will be complete. So OP, there is definitely hope in getting a BOG ADR....you just have to be really patient and stalk the dining line or online dining :goodvibes.

Can you always get in at lunch for quick service? Is there anything that happens at dinner that you can't see at lunch? The lunch menu looks yummy and I'm thinking of giving up on the idea of a dinner ADR and just going for lunch and using up a quick service credit.

OMG!! Just completed info for ressie all way to end and got message server down maintenance!! I can't believe this!

I'm going in 160 days and I couldn't find any availability for the entire week (Jan 12-18). I heard that because it is not as busy that time of the year, walk-ups are somewhat more possible... is this true?

and what is the best way to snag a reservation? calling or just checking online everyday?

:dance3:

Don't give up! I just snagged a ressie on our arrival day for a 4:10 dinner. We are going in late September. I have been periodically checking at night the past few evenings and am convinced I got lucky since someone else cancelled.:woohoo:

I would say there is always hope for this location because the CC reserve people are going to cancel so they don't pay the cancellation fee. I myself will be cancelling 2 reservations for Feb is a few weeks as soon as I find out what day my brother wants to go. I got 3 dinner ressies this morning for our Feb trip. We might go all three times and try to sit in each dining room but I don't know yet. My DB and DSIL don't understand how hard it is to get reservations anywhere in Disney for 8. So they're like make it whenever and we can change it when we get there if we want to =crazy planner person=me. LOL

Just bumping this to the top in case someone knows the answer. How long is the lunch wait usually?

We waited for lunch last month after no luck getting an ADR. We only waited about 15-20 min. The line moved fast. :)
And there were 9 of us.

We went early about 11:15 or and waited 15 min. It was fun.the difference is that at night it is true table service and I think there is a photo op with the Beast. I liked the lunch . It was fun to order and place the rose on the table and the food magically delivered to me. I don't think I would use up a table service there.
