Is There Any Hope for A Meal at O'hana's?

We have recently planned a last minute (kind of) trip to WDW in December. I tried calling to get ADR's for dinner at O'hana's only to find that the earliest seating is 9:30pm for the 4 nights that we had available. This is the only place that my husband requested... Is there any hope for cancellations as the trip gets closer? I'm calling 3-4 times a week... starting to think that we may not get a chance to eat there on this trip.

I wanted to change our Ohana dinner to a different time and was told the only time available was 9:30. I am keeping our 6:25 now. You can keep trying. Some say the day of something may open up.

I think you might have better luck once you are there. Once people are there, their plans tend to change. We were there last week and I really wanted 'Ohana. I called everyday for several weeks before we got there. Once we got there I kept calling several times a day. Last Friday I had called 4-5 times. As we were getting ready to leave to have dinner at Kona, I decided I would try one more time. Persistence paid off. At 5:00 I was able to get an ADR for 6:30. I am so glad we kept trying. We had a great time. So don't give up. Keep trying.

Call call call, it does work. If you have had no luck when you get there call from your room. Sending you pixie dust

There's always a chance. I've gotten one at the last minute before. Depending on party size, you could take the late ressie and try to get in earlier. We've done that at several places and it worked out well but we're only a party of 2.

I would do the 9:30pm for now and keep calling each day early in the morning.

That's how I got fantasmic dining.
