Is there any DIS events planned for ToT?

Hi Jean, no not actually doing the run, I thought for the cost of it, we didn't get too much, so where going to be hanging out with Robert and Linda, then waiting for you all to join the party at BWV, but now we are all volunteering at package pick up so I believe we get tickets to the party so we will go and cheer everyone on.

We are at disney Oct 19 - 26th

Now that the DL 1/2 is over I'm getting really psyched for ToT. My personal goal is to be able to jog the whole thing without walk breaks, we'll see how it goes...

I'd love to meet more WISHers there although the drink around the world probably in not in the cards as we will have our 5 year old with us.

Glow Sticks are a good idea!!

I got a WISH limey-green long and lean tank top from target today for TOT, with my black and green bondi band, I'll be all set.

Hope to get in some beer lap training while we're at the beach next week!

We did orange and green glow sticks fromWalMart last year. They worked well and lasted the wwhole race

So you are planning to go to the Party now as you get free tickets for volunteering. I am still not signed up for this race. DH will not be doing it because of the time limit. How are you getting over to package pickup to voluneer? I guess I could always buy DH a party ticket so he can be at the finish line and not make him volunteer. I am always volunteering him for things and he doesn't always appreciate me doing that.

We do plan to do the beer walk around Epcot on Friday night after dinner.

Ya, origially we where just going to hang with Robert and Linda then meet up with everyone at BWV quiet pool party but this is better as I would love to cheer everyone along the way. Plus ride ToT over and over again waiting for people coming to the finish line....

I have no idea how we are getting to package pick up, I guess we will rely on Disney trans as we won't have a car.

Can't remember if I asked you how long you are at disney, we are there 19 - 26th staying mostly at BWV but so far 1 night is still at SSR which I am hoping my travel agent can get changed

Kim---We are there from 10/18-10/26. We start off at OKW and move to BWV on Friday 10/24 as I couldn't get in there before that date. Jeanne and John come down on Wed evening 10/22and are at BWV. I think we will be able to meet each other this time. We are doing Party for the Senses on 10/18 which is one of my favorite events at F&W, expensive but fun.

Kim: Our bud Dave volunteered to drive us over to CSR to work. Toy Story Mania is where we will be at the party. It was fun at DL.

Just bumping since we're just under 4 weeks now! I was sitting watching TV last night around 10:30 and thought to myself in 4 weeks I will be running a race at this time!! I am hopeful the next 4 weeks of half training will enough to get me ready.

I was at target yesterday and they had glow bracelets/necklaces in the dollar section. I bought 4 packages of them ( so I have alot) and would be happy to share before the race!

So, is there a definite meet Friday in MK? I thought I'd read we were going to meet 4:30ish at either Cosmic Ray's or Peco's Bill's....or was I imagining that??

I am going to be at the MK Friday for the MNSSHP with some of my family for the last night of our cousin reunion trip. Most of the fam will be leaving on Saturday, but my DSIL Steve, DD Erin, and DS Craig will be staying to do ToT with me. I am definitely interested in meeting WISHers for supper Friday, my family will go with the flow. What does everyone think?
