I just discovered this morning that I had a time written down for Chef Mickeys but no reservation #. So I called Disney Dining and they can't find the reservation. I don't know if I forgot to confirm it online or what but now we are headed there in 2 weeks with no ressie and this is one that was a must for this trip (my 2 yr old lovesss...Mickey & Friends). So has anyone had any luck with a last min reservation there? Do I have any chance? What is the best way to find a reservation without dedicating the next 2 weeks of my life to it?

I would start by using the online reservations. Plug it in every chance you get. The phone CMs warn you when you cancel over the phone to make a switch to something else, that you may not be able to switch back because the opening is immediately available online. I have seen resorts suddenly available that previously were not. I have also lost a resort I wanted because I did not commit to it. When you get there, ask at the concierge desk each day. If you are flexible for a time, you may just get it. That is one thing a phone CM can do for you that online cannot: they can openly just search for a time, without a limited window.

I would call the disney dining telephone number. Since this restaurant is not in a theme park you can go any day (if you do not have park hoppers).
If you are flexible with your times you will have luck. Like have a early dinner for example. Just tell the cm what it is you want -an adr for chef mickey's & tell them what days & times aren't good for you. I'm sure it will work out.

I know everybody loves Chef Mickey's, but you could consider trying to get an ADR for one of the other Mickey & Friends meals. They might not have all the same characters, but at least you won't be dining Mckeyless...
