with storage underneath? We are planning on taking our big stroller. I liek that I will have the underneath for storage. We will be bring a bag of clothes and diapers, etc, so I need the storage. But then I wondered if there is such a thing as a umbrella one with underneath storage. Ours just has a little bag hanging off the back ,and would never work. We have to much to bring and it would be flipping over each time we took her out.

I know they used to make them because I had one, but I am not sure if they do anymore. I know you can get the ones that are a little bigger with the comfy seat and the hood with the storage underneath for about $30.00 made by Graco because I have one of those too.

I don't think that you will find one with a large storage area. We just got a Mac quest, it has storge but not that much, I have not gone out with it yet so I am not sure but it is not as big as my gracco's storage. Good luck!

I'll probably use my regular one. I figured the storage wouldn't be great anyways. But it would be less bulky to tote around too. Oh well, I'll keep my eyes open this week and see!.

You might want to check babiesrus.com - one of my friends has a light-weight umbrella-like stroller with a storage basket under the seat that she found online there. It also has a sunshade, but it's not much heavier than a typical umbrella stroller and is fairly compact when it folds up. I think she got it for under $100, but I'm not sure, and I'm afraid I don't remember the brand.

WalMart sells one. We bought it for our trip to WDW last year and it worked great for us. We had 2 small children, so the storage underneath was big enough to tote around all of their needs and then some. I believe that it is whatever the WalMart brand is called and cost us around $20.

We purchased two Kolcraft Lite Sport strollers for our trip in Dec. 2003. They were perfect for our two DDs (ages 2 and 3 at the time). They had plenty of storage, had a sunshade, and folded up easily and pretty compactly. They were only $30 each at the time, and I currently use one when I need a single stoller for my third DD (now 2).

This is a newer version of the same stroller. You can find it on sale for about $35.

Thanks everyone. We may be going to Walmart later today, so I'll check it out. I can't really order one online ,cuase with shipping it wil lbring it up to more than I want to spend. Plus we leave in 9 days ,and I need to be sure I have it by then.
The Kolcraft one is nice looking.

Babies R Us used to sell the Kolcraft Litesport at their stores. You may be able to get one without having to pay shipping? (I had 2 of these strollers for our twins and LOVED LOVED LOVED them! Tray tables for kids and mom, too)

Actually, I think it was the Baby Trend Lite Sport, not Kolcraft. They were about $40

We have a Jeep umbrella stroller with a storage area underneath (not large, but it works), a sun shade, drink holder and the back of the seat reclines. I bought it probably 3 years ago and paid approximately $40 for it, I think.

Good luck!

If you will be using Disney transportation, make sure the stroller will fold up with all that stuff underneath. If not, you're going to have problems with transportation.

I have no stroller that will fold up with stuff under it. I never heard of such a thing???
Why would that cuase transportation problems?

I went to Walmart and they had one that was 20, but only showed a small picture. There wasn't one displayed , and i won't buy if I can't see it. They had the jeep one too, but that was 50. I'll look some more tomorrow. I may hit Babies R Us, or Toys R us too. also maybe a different Walmart may have it out on display. I jsut need to see how much room is actually under it. I don't want to spend more than 30 for this.

hey jenseib...we're going to POP on March 5th!!

thats great!!! We decided last fall we would go, but didn't figure a date till the end of Jan. Then planned it all fast!!
I can't wait. It is getting so close now!!

Well I am really thinking I should get one, so I will do more looking today. I think it will just save on space and be easier. DH even said we could jsut buy one once we get there too and then throw it over a bridge when we're done!! LOL! He was kidding on the last part. But I don't know if I want to take precious vacation time to stop off and look for a stroller on our way to the resort.

The baby trend is the stroller we used for DD3 in Oct. 05. We just put a back pack in the underneath basket and took it out to fold up on the bus.
However, The back wheel broke off on our Nov. 06 trip (DD4 then). We were just walking along World Showcase in Epcot and the wheel went rolling away!:scared1: We still had 4 more days of our trip and were going to rent one for the rest of our stay but then found one at Once Upon a Toy in DTD for $40. We got it because it was cheeper than renting and we like the convenience of having the stroller all of the time. This one does not have a basket underneath but the back pack hung nicely on the back. DH liked it a lot more for folding up on the bus because not having the storage basket underneath made it less bulky.

So, I guess I'm just saying the Baby Trend worked well for a trip and a half and you can buy one at DTD if you can't find one before you get there.
Good Luck!! and have a GREAT trip!!!

I use a shopping bag hanging from the handles as my storage. It usually hangs low enough that as long as isn't toooo heavy then it doesn't tip the stroller when the child isn't in it. And it makes it easy when you get to the trams. Since the stuff is already in a bag, I just hand carry the bags until I can unfold the stroller again.

I found one at Walmart for $20. It was umbrella style with one recline position, a small storage basket underneath and a sunshade. I bought two, one for eac of my DD's. Good luck with your hunt and have a great trip! :goodvibes

We have the Chicco (C5) and it has underneith storage, the seat reclines, and it comes with a rain cover. It is ~$100 at BRU. It is taller than a cheap umbrella stroller, and is much sturdier. It won't tip over when you hang somehting from the handles and DD finds it comfortable to ride in.
