Is there an FAQ for.....

The port Orleans French Quater? I saw the one for POR. I am trying to figure out whether or not I should get a standard or water view. We would prefer to be close to the food court and main building.

You should be good with any building at POFQ. It is a small resort, so everything is a short walk.

honestly..IMO..paying for a "view" at a moderate is a waste of money. 9 times out of 10 you keep your "blinds" closed so that people walking by don't peek in your room. and you don't have a private balcony so it's not like you're hanging out outisde your door at night.

JMO.

and the prior poster was correct...POFQ is such a "compact" resort...that the walk really isn't bad to the pool/food court. Last September we stayed there...we were placed in building 7, parking lot view...our walk to the bus stop/food court/pool was, less then 5 minutes. and it's a CUTE resort to walk through!

Thanks to you good people we have booked the POFQ. We will be there 12/14 - 12/19. We are going with a standard view. We chose the dining plan and 5 day park hopper passes. Hopefully the girls will think this is the best birthday present ever!
