I saw someone posted a question regarding apps... but they appeared to be for iPhones.

I am looking for WDW apps for ANDROID phones. Aside from a list, some experiences with them would be welcome as well.

All suggested appreciated!

I downloaded the Touring plans WDW Lines app on my Droid:cool1:

I already had an Unofficial Guide Touring plans membership (you can get a discount on the cost if you own the Unofficial Guide book) and used my ID to log into the app.

I really like it, its fun to check wait times for the rides.
I can't wait to use it when I'm in the parks.

I'm not sure how it would work if you don't have a membership to touring plans.

Go to the market and search by WDW. There are several apps. Currently the UCT app is free. I've been playing with it over the weekend, and it's pretty cool, but I can't attest to its accuracy. Touringplans requires a subscription to Touringplans.com. There's also a park map app for $2. I also just installed Ride Hopper Lite (free), which does more than just WDW parks.

I LOVE the Lines app. DS and I used it last December, and it was spot-on. Was so nice to be on one side of the park, and be able to quickly see what the wait times were for a ride clear on the other side of the park. Especially when the ride was just reported closed! Saved us so much time in back-tracking. And the chat is super helpful and the folks there super friendly if you have a question you need a quick answer to. SO worth the subscription fee!! :goodvibes

Just got my new HTC EVO4, so I'm also looking at what Android apps are out there.

There's so much to wade through, what has proved useful and also user friendly?

We love the Touring Plans Lines app. It was very accurate. We just returned from a 10 day trip and used it everyday (even though 8 out of 10 days the parks were empty and everything was a walk on). My DH loved entering times and earning badges for his submissions.:thumbsup2

I installed Ride Hopper Lite, but you depend entirely on info submitted by people at the parks. I've found it to be somewhat incomplete, specially during slower times. The app says that the full version provides a little more info about qtty of guests submitting the info, so you can get an idea of the accuracy of the wait time.

I also subscribed to Touring Plans. I don't have the app, as in Argentina's Market is not available (Google segmentation). But you can get in the mobile site, that as far as I know, provides the same info: WOW, I'm less than 2 weeks away and I'm going nuts checking the wait times.

Right now I'm using the info for planning, but I think It'll be very useful once we are there.

I used the WDW lines on my Droid X last week and really liked it. I also subscribe to allears, and they offered a discount. I felt the info was worth the money. I also thought it was awesome when people would report a ride that was down. That saved us so much walking! I thought the times were close to accurate, more accurate than the posted times on the rides themselves. Also, the app has the showtimes for various shows around the parks. I liked it a lot and will do it again the next trip!

I used Lines on my last trip and found it worth every penny. The times were 99% of time pretty accurate. They were really on target with the Fast pass times. I really liked too entering the times and earning badges.

I've Just installed the UCT app to my Milestone.

Really nice UI.

And the info seems logical to what has been reported here.
