on charactor meals???

if not, which in your opinion is the best, and why? for breakfast...

and in october, will the charactors be dressed up for halloween?? ooo that would be fun!

my most important question is, are they really worth the money? im the type that gets a ton of food on my plate, and gets full after a few bites:rotfl2: big bites of course! hahaha so i think the food is probably good, but what about the 'experience'? is it better just to stick with churros and enjoy DL and the rides? what do you think?

thanks!

Our favorite from our last trip was Minnie and friends, followed closely by Goofy's Kitchen. We think they're worth it- you get great face time with the characters, and the kids have so much fun! We weren't that impressed with Ariels, though. This time, we're doing Minnie and Friends, Storytellers and Lilo & Stitch.

we are doing one when we go in october. We are going to do Goofy's Kitchen for brunch. We have never been to one at Disneyland but have been to two at Walt Disney World. I enjoyed them (before the baby) so I think it will be even more fun with the baby! I think you should try it.

We have only been to one- Lilo & Stitch. The food was delicious, but we really don't eat that much. So food wise it was not worth the money. However, the character interaction was great and that's really what we paid for. We went to it twice just for the characters. My baby fell in love w/ Minnie.

thanks for the advice everyone! i think we're going to try it, im sure my son will love it!!

and heatherleigh, that is an adorable picture!! paying that much would be worth it to me if i could get a shot like that with my son and a character!!:goodvibes

My fave is Goofy's Kitchen !

The Characters go out of their way to go to the tables and say Hi to everyone. Also, periodically Goofy has a ball and gathers everyone to the center of the restaurant to dance and knowing your son/my nephew, he'll have an awesome time !!!

What I like the most is the variety of food. I say since you're paying so much, aim for the entrees there. They have kiddie foods like pizza and corn dogs, but those are so inexpensive to make. Thats my two cents.

I think that if you want to go there do either breakfast or dinner because they serve the same stuff at lunch as they do breakfast. I know their entrees are different all the time, so it depends on when you go; but definitely save room for dessert because they have a big dessert selection. Oh also, if its going to be someone's birthday you can get a birthday bucket there !

oooo i can celebrate my bday!! its a month after it, but thats when we're celebrating it, at DL!! i want a birthday bucket!!

and i will be alllll over those desserts!! heheehehe

They took tons of pics because it was virtually empty in there. The photographer gave me several for FREE!! He said it was because he couldn't get a very good shot because Lady wouldn't open her eyes much (she was in love.) It wasn't his fault, but he still gave us a pkg. That was the one time we were kind of "dreamed."
