As I am reading these threads, I got to thinking. There are so many people from ALL over the world on board. Wouldn't it be neat to show the kids WHERE these people are from! Sometimes we all think we are from "our own little world". So, is there, somewhere on board, a world map that we can take the boys to and show them where people are from? If not, I am sure I can find a small map to pack, but being on the ship might be more fun. THANKS!

I remember thinking that it would have been awesome to have had a map and let the kids ask the cast members to mark where they are from on it, but I don't remember seeing one anywhere.

In the atrium they have a map of the route the Magic/Wonder take....be it the Caribbean or Bahamas....it is not a total world map but shows a big area.

That would be a great idea to have a world map to identify where CM's and guests are from. My son has geography this year and we bought a world map for his wall to help with his homework. We have already looked at where the ports are that we will be visiting next year and the route of the ship. Things like this helps make learning fun.

thanks for all your answers! I guess I'll find a map and pack it with us. I think this would be a great learning tool! Maybe, I could even get CM's to mark it for us with their names even, then at the top we could mark it, People we met on our First Disney Cruise and where they are from... and then frame it for their rooms! I might be on to something! ::yes::
