gives water conditions?? I just read the post from NYdisneymom (I think this is the username) and she mentioned the boat was rocking a bit.

I thought it would be interesting to see what size of swells, wind conditions, etc can make a ship that big rock! :earseek:

Thanks,
Karen

in most cases when leaving the port you will feel the swell for the first 6-8 hrs. its not to bad after that. the ship has ways of keeping it self from back and forth swaying.

I have a friend that is a weather forecaster for the Air Force. He says that the best weather website is www.wunderground.com It really is a good one. And you can look at weather all over the world!!

Hey Nick-I had to chuckle-first I saw your picture, which was So very kind of you to post for me ;) ;)

Then I read your tag!!!

I can remember taking a few "cruises to nowhere" when I lived in South Florida. These cruises left from the West Palm Beach area and they really went "nowhere." I believe the plan was to get far enough out into International waters so the casinos could open up. Anyway-as I think back, these ships were horrible. I can remember sitting on the pool deck, water coming out of the pool as waves were breaking on to the ddeck. :earseek: Some rough weather, but we had a blast. I was only 18 (drinking age was 18 then) and surrounded by friends. I felt like I was on the ship in your picture!! :)

Sort of on the same note, anybody know a good site that I could look up high & low tides for some of the ports (like Cozumel)?
THANKS!
