Is there a way to verify my reservation?

Your reservation is probably fine, but I find it surprising that your owner didn't (as a courtesy) send you an email with the link to pull up the reservation. When I rent, I PDF the confirmation to my renter via email, along with their reservation number and the link by which to pull up the reservation.

Perhaps you can just email her your concerns and she can email you back a detailed explanation of the process, etc.


She recently upon my request sent me a copy of the reservation-- a screenshot rather than a forward, so there are no links for me to click on.
 
My reservation came up before my 180 day mark. I don't know why you're having a problem. Could just be My Disney Experience. Keep trying.

Can you request that she forward the confirmation email? When I rented I always had the actual confirmation email forwarded to me.

Not true...DVC reservations should show up once they are made. It's good that you got the screen shot, but I would ask for another email confirmation to be sent. It might explain why you are having trouble accessing it. It could be as simple as a spelling error.

I've never had it ask me for a phone number to link a room reservation, only the confirmation number and last name of primary guest.

Only when linking dining reservations did I have to enter a phone number.

I was able to access my rented reservations well before the 180 day mark.
I also don't remember needing a phone number to link my reservations.

This might sound silly, but have you registered with the Disney World website first? Then go to the bit in 'My Disney Experience' where it says 'Link Existing Reservations and Tickets'. You should only need your confirmation number and your surname.
 
second the info given by a PP to check the place on my disney reservations that reservation was made through DVC. I had this issue one other time and when I did that the reservation showed up. My current reservation is also listed as travel plan number not reservation or confirmation number so that would be correct wording for that.
